Bull Terrier Shepherd (Unknown Type)

Female, Adult
Bothell, WA
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Animal Profile: Charlotte is an estimated 4-year-old, 48 lb spayed female bull terrier/shepherd mix who lived most her life on a chain having litter after litter until her family up and moved and left her. She was taken in by our rescue partner in Oklahoma, where she became an inside dog -- she quickly learned house training and crate training, and was described as "absolutely fabulous." She joined Dog Gone Seattle in August 2023.  Seattle Foster Update: Charlotte, or Charlie as she is affectionately called, has learned so much in just a few short months. From the chain to a cherished family member, Charlie is affectionate, loyal, smart, and loving. With professional trainer guidance, she has mastered basic commands including sit, down, place, and come, and is working on loose leash walking. She now walks well on a leash in a quiet neighborhood but does demonstrate prey drive, especially for little critters such as squirrels and bunnies outside, so requires a confident handler. She is cat-neutral, and has lived in both foster homes with multiple cats; she would do fine in a home even with a nervous cat. She is not reactive to other dogs outside the home but does show some resource guarding toward other dogs (not people) for her crate/bed and at times her people inside the home, so may be easier as an only dog. She’s happy to chill during the day and loves to snuggle with her people. She loves having a large fenced yard where she can run and play as she lives for fetch. She will need a savvy adopter familiar with the level of leadership as well as the mental and physical stimulation required by her breed, and who is committed to continuing her training. Private training support will be included with adoption.  Adopter Profile: Adult only home Large breed experience required Herding breed experience preferred Secure fenced yard required Balanced dogs considered Cats OK Commitment to ongoing training Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Take home training session will be included with adoption. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: Animal History: This dog was transferred from Tulsa Animal Control in Oklahoma and arrived in the Seattle area via Furry Freight on 8/13//2023. She is being fostered in the greater Seattle area and has received professional training with Dog B Good in Federal Way. March 1, 2024, 3:17 pm

Bull Terrier Bull Terrier

Male, Senior
Kent, WA
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Rambo is a 12 year old Bull Terrier that is full of love. My daughter adopted him from the Oceanside, CA Humane Society in 2021, when he was ten. He was a great dog for her, but she had to unexpectedly relocate on her military base, & could no longer keep him. So she had him shipped/ driven to me in Washington using the “Citizen Shipper” app. He is considered a “short snout” dog, so he can not fly on a plane. I had gotten to know Rambo when she had him, & didn’t want him to go back to the shelter. I have had him since March of 2022. My situation has now unexpectedly changed, and I now need to relocate & can not take him with. For as heartbreaking as this is for me, I do know he will adjust well in a new home, as he needs more attention than I can give him at this point, & he is such a lover. I always say he a “dog that needs a therapy person,” instead of a “person needing a therapy dog.” He loves to be with his person, but doesn’t have separation anxiety, which is great.

Bull Terrier Beagle

Male, Adult
Everett, WA
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Spayed or Neutered,
When you eat your Thanksgiving turkey- will you think of me?? I will be right next to you trying to get it... NOW will you think of me?? LOL, ok, I kid.... I do love turkey though :) I am Wishbone, and I am a bull terrier/beagle mixed boy with a story to tell! I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! So, what are you waiting for? Look me up, take me on adventures when you apply to adopt me! ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!!!! MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Zora was a stray that found us about a year ago. We eventually decided to keep her when we couldn’t find her owner. We are unfortunately realizing that she is increasingly nervous around our youngest dog. She does best being around females and being the only dog. She has been great with our two cats. She is nervous around new men, fireworks and video games that include gunfire. She really is a sweet and loving dog and probably one of the best watchdog I have interacted with.
