Louis is 2 on April 13, 2024. Thought I was getting purebred Bull Terrier. He is a mix of Bull Terrier, Staffordshire, Australian Shepherd, and a couple others according to DNA. He could use a little more training but knows basic commands. Very sweet boy though - never been aggressive with anyone. Lots of puppy energy still. Kennel trained. Not big into car rides but also not a lot of practice. Louis got me through post divorce life but I am involved in more activities now so he doesn’t get as much attention as he should.

She is good with other dogs, clean in her crate, and is working on her basic obedience. Animal Profile: Charlotte is an estimated 4-year-old, 48 lb spayed female bull terrier/shepherd mix who lived most her life on a chain having litter after litter until her family up and moved and left her. She was taken in by our rescue partner in Oklahoma, where she became an inside dog -- she quickly learned house training and crate training, and was described as "absolutely fabulous." She joined Dog Gone Seattle in August 2023.  Seattle Foster Update: Charlotte, or Charlie as she is affectionately called, has learned so much in just a few short months. From the chain to a cherished family member, Charlie is affectionate, loyal, smart, and loving. With professional trainer guidance, she has mastered basic commands including sit, down, place, and come, and is working on loose leash walking. She now walks well on a leash in a quiet neighborhood but does demonstrate prey drive, especially for little critters such as squirrels and bunnies outside, so requires a confident handler. She is cat-neutral, and has lived in both foster homes with multiple cats; she would do fine in a home even with a nervous cat. She is not reactive to other dogs outside the home but does show some resource guarding toward other dogs (not people) for her crate/bed and at times her people inside the home, so may be easier as an only dog. She’s happy to chill during the day and loves to snuggle with her people. She loves having a large fenced yard where she can run and play as she lives for fetch. She will need a savvy adopter familiar with the level of leadership as well as the mental and physical stimulation required by her breed, and who is committed to continuing her training. Meet Albie, a six-year-old Boxer/Husky mix with a heart full of love and a personality that's just as big! He's a quirky companion who loves to cuddle, making him the perfect buddy for movie nights and lazy Sundays. Albie enjoys the great outdoors and is always up for a hike, but he's also just as content spending his days lounging around the house, basking in the comfort of his family's company. With a keen mind, he loves to "have a job" to do, including learning new tricks. He is very well-behaved: listens very well, knows all basic commands, potty trained, crate trained, and loves showing off his tricks. While Albie is a bundle of joy and is a big teddy bear, he does have his unique needs. He prefers being the only pet in the household as he's uncomfortable around other dogs. He has made a lot of progress but will bark and lunge at dogs on walks if he gets within 10 feet of them. He has never bitten another dog, but is afraid of them. Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4.5-year-old beauty. She is a Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier that weighs about 60 pounds. She is a beautiful grey and tan coat that is shiny and she is not too big of a shedding dog. She is loyal and does get along with dogs. Her preference is smaller male dogs or smaller submissive females. She was adopted as a puppy and returned at 4 years old because she didn’t get along with the other female dog in the home. She loves people and loves kids. She is potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She is very affectionate and slept with her family in the bed at night. She was really nice to all the people she met today at the rescue. She loved cuddles and being petted. We could adopt her locally with other dogs and we can test the dogs out. If she goes outside the state of Texas she would make a great only dog. She would be a great companion dog for someone wanting an outdoor companion on your activities and a dog willing to cuddle when you want to chill and read a book. She is the best of both worlds. She is house trained and goes potty outside. They have worked with trainers so she is skilled as far as training goes and was following direction nicely at the Rescue. She could be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. She if fully vetted, healthy and ready for her forever home. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older.
