WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Sonny - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! OMGosh, melt your heart with just one glance into my striking blue eyes. Yes, a bull terrier with blue eyes!! Very stunning if I do say so myself! I was pulled from a small rural doggie slammer where I was on 'the list' all just due to space or lack there of. I probably would be doing life as my chances of getting out weren't looking promising. But low and behold I, along with my sister, Cheri got our reprieve!! We are doing amazing in our foster home and are ready to find families of our very own. I am just a baby yet at about 4 months and I come in at around 22lbs. That should put me around the 40-50lb area when I get myself fully growed up. I'm a friendly social fella that is pretty much a blob of clay ready to be molded into the bestest family addition...YOUR family addition! I do great with people and other pups. Although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet! Are you ready for a BFF, a heartbeat at your feet (or on your lap), a sidekick for all your daily going ons and a cohort for your adventures? Well gosh, that'd be ME, so you just need to stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application!! It can be found at haydudeequine.org

Bobby is our Staff Pick! Animal Care and Adoption Specialist Peter says, "Bobby is a sweet, special boy! He likes to get out and about, is great on his walks, and loves agility! I like to visit him when he's getting some play time, and he'll run right up to me, lean into me and give me face kisses with that long nose of his. Sometimes he's anxious about the world, but it's a very rewarding experience to help comfort him and make him feel better, because he always appreciates you for it. It can take some time to earn that trust from him, but once you do, he's full of love and very attached to his people. It always feels like he wants to see me and doesn't want me to leave."Bobby is ready to find his best friend! This handsome 7-year-old is eager to charm you, woo you, and be your shadow through it all. Bobby can be a sensitive guy and is looking for a dog-experienced, adult only home that can give him all the mental enrichment, exercise, and socialization he needs. And a home that can give him all the time he needs to settle into his new environment. Once he's comfortable he loves to play, go for walks, and enjoys eating treats. In fact, he's a little chubby because he loves treats so much! Bobby is looking to be the only pet in his new home and is looking for a house in a quiet area. If you're ready to welcome home this lovely lad, send in an adoption application today! Bobby's adoption fee is waived in thanks to our Pay it Forward program. *Bobby is currently in a foster home and not located in the shelter.#playful #nodogs #nocats #lovesfoodtreats

Story
Hello, Moppet and I met 3 years ago as a foster. Eventually, I adopted; but keeping him and providing a stable home has always been a challenge for me. All of his medical and dental needs have been addressed; he’s a healthy boy of about 10 years old. Moppet sleeps a lot and would do well in a household that isn’t too active; but still gives him enthusiastic walks and daily playtime. With professional training, he could be fine with other dogs; I simply don’t have the resources for that. This is a brutally difficult situation for us and I’ll miss him terribly; but it’s important he be given the best home possible. The adoption fee will include his dog bed, food, medication and everything else you need for the first 4-6 weeks. He has some dietary issues, but nothing major. Also, he sleeps with his humans and needs a home with non-smokers. If you smoke, or vape, moppet is not for you.

When you eat your Thanksgiving turkey- will you think of me?? I will be right next to you trying to get it... NOW will you think of me?? LOL, ok, I kid.... I do love turkey though :) I am Wishbone, and I am a bull terrier/beagle mixed boy with a story to tell! I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! So, what are you waiting for? Look me up, take me on adventures when you apply to adopt me! ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!!!! MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

These pups are in Brier, Washington too!

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Cody is a 5 - 6 year old Boxer mix who is looking for a loving, active and structured forever home! He is sweet but had a rough beginning so will need a rescue experienced home that will help him build trust, learn basic obedience and gain confidence. He will bond to his people and loves attention and affection. He loves treats and is glad to work for them! He has not had a lot of training so will need support with continued basic obedience. He is looking for a home that is adult only or with kids over the age of 16. He will thrive in a home where he can be active, he loves to run around, go for walks, and would make an excellent outdoor activity partner. Cody can do well with other dogs but it is always best to do proper introductions to make sure it is a good match and that all parties 'mesh'. Cody would do best in a home with a large fenced yard where he can run, roam and play. Cody is UTD on shots, has had a dental, is microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Meet Sugar! True to her name, Sugar is a sweet, 1 year old, 55 lb. Boxer mix who loves people and is looking for her forever home! Sugar has a lot of spunky energy and would do great with a family that can take her on walks and adventures and commit to her obedience training. Sugar can be very excitable around other dogs and has a lot of playful energy which may be off putting to some dogs but has been playful with the dogs in our care. She has not been tested with kids or cats, but we are recommending no small children as she is bouncy and could easily knock them over. Sugar is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.
