Story: Annie is a beautiful, sweet senior Calico who was adopted in September 2025 from the Clarke County Animal Shelter. Unfortunately, our resident cat wasn't happy with the addition to our family, and we are reluctantly looking for a new home where she can be happiest. Annie has stage 2 chronic kidney disease which is being managed with a prescription diet and plenty of hydration (she loves her water fountain!). Chronic kidney disease will inevitably progress, but for now she is otherwise healthy, happy, and very active! Annie supposedly came from a house with other cats but they didn't get along (that's the extent of info the shelter could provide). Because our resident cat was the dominant cat and aggressor with Annie, it's hard to guess how she would do with another cat. The safest placement would see her in a single-pet home. She has always been gentle with us, but we don't have first-hand experience on interactions with children. Annie is chipped, up-to-date on vaccinations (September 2025 for all), and has had multiple senior panels performed. Hi my name is Canvas. When I am put in an unusual or stressful situation I do my best to blend into the canvas! I am a sweet little girl though and I bounce back quickly. I am a bit shy to start with, but once I realize that all you want to do is love me and you will be patient about it, then I'll be thrilled to purr non-stop and ask you to pet my non-stop! I love to play with stick toys and will do majestic flips while trying to get the stick. Hi, I am Hershey, a four-year-old black and white tuxedo DSH girl. I was adoptedfrom AWLMC a few years ago and settled right in and life was good. Theyeventually had a baby who grew into a toddler who has not yet learned how to begentle with kitties and use his indoor voice. Loud noises and/or enthusiastichandling made me run for the nearest hiding place, so I spent a lot of time inhiding. The family decided I would be better off in a quieter home - and I agreed.I am a bit shy when meeting new people and will hide for a while until I am morecomfortable.When I am feeling safe, I am playful (wand toys, laser dots, mice, balls) and like tofollow you around, sit next to you and on your lap. I love being up high (wait untilyou see me jump!), and looking out the window from my cat tree, observing lifeoutside or curling up in a sunbeam for a nice nap. I am also intensely curiousabout open doors you never know what is inside unless you check it out right?If you want to give me a gentle chin to tail massage, I am your girl.
