Story
Umi needs a good home. She is so sweet and loving. She is a Tabico, 13 weeks female. I will spay her at my expense. Her fee is 100.00 because I need her to go to a very good home. Also all shots, flea medicine and spaying are on me to get it all done. Umi also comes with a lot of accessories- 2 tree towers, 3 litter boxes, litter, food, toys. Everything is in great and new condition. Umi is good with dogs I have a German shepherd she is good with so she just might need to warm up to new surroundings. Please consider this sweetheart. Her markings are so beautiful.

Story
Meet Tippsie, an 8-year-old dilute tortie with a gentle soul! Tipssie’s world changed when her beloved owner from kittenhood, now facing advanced cancer, could no longer care for her. She is a little timid at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a sweet loving companion. She loves head and chin rubs, brushing, and even gives the cutest little forehead bumps. Since moving to a foster home from our shelter, she is much more comfortable. Tippsie is a laid back girl. She spends her afternoons napping, like most kitties, then joins her foster family when they get home from work for some petting and attention. Though not a lap cat (yet), Tippsie enjoys being close to her fosters and lets them carry her around. Tippsie would do best in a calm, quiet home with understanding adopters who will let her settle in at her pace. In return, Tipssie will reward you with companionship, gentle affection, and a loyal presence by your side! To learn more about this kitty, please email adopt@catsrusrescue.org or submit an adoption application online at https://catsrusrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application All of our cats and kittens are rescues. They are mixed breed unless otherwise noted. If a cat or kitten is designated as a particular breed we do not have papers to verify the breed information. We assign breeds to our cats and kittens based on similar appearance, size, and temperament as described in the breed description of a purebred cat. Our adoption fee is $120.00 for kittens under 1 year (2 for $200), $100 for cats over 1 year (2 for $180), and $150 - $250 for exotic breed cats or kittens. We do not have our own spay/neuter clinic so the adoption fee we charge helps our rescue pay for a portion of vet fees incurred to prepare a cat or kitten for adoption. The adoption fee includes a wellness exam, spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, FeLV and FIV testing (negative/negative unless otherwise noted), treatment for parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms, ear mites), and microchipping.

Story
Hi, this little cutie here is Ham'N'Cheese. Ham'N'Cheese is a lovely calico cat I found by my building a couple of months ago. She was about 6-7 months at the time. She was in and out because her and my mom clash. She is a very sweet, gentle, cuddly, and playful young cat. She's great with kids and loves to play with cats. I'm not sure how she is around dogs. I can no longer take care of her. I need to find a loving adopter who will spoil and care for her. I'd prefer to give her to someone that has another kitten/cat or puppy/dog in the house that is good with cats and can entertain her if chosen to be adopted. This is an Urgent Listing as I can no longer care for her at home. Serious applications only.

Story
ANNIE IS A COURTESY POST - IF INTERESTED, EMAIL INFO@PETEY&FURENDS.ORG Name: Annie Sex: Female Estimated Age: About 14 years old Best Guess for Breed: Calico Mix Weight: About 4 lbs Lives with and loves: All people (including kids!) Story: Annie is a beautiful, sweet senior Calico who was adopted in September 2025 from the Clarke County Animal Shelter. Unfortunately, our resident cat wasn't happy with the addition to our family, and we are reluctantly looking for a new home where she can be happiest. Annie has stage 2 chronic kidney disease which is being managed with a prescription diet and plenty of hydration (she loves her water fountain!). Chronic kidney disease will inevitably progress, but for now she is otherwise healthy, happy, and very active! Annie supposedly came from a house with other cats but they didn't get along (that's the extent of info the shelter could provide).  Because our resident cat was the dominant cat and aggressor with Annie, it's hard to guess how she would do with another cat. The safest placement would see her in a single-pet home. She has always been gentle with us, but we don't have first-hand experience on interactions with children.  Annie is chipped, up-to-date on vaccinations (September 2025 for all), and has had multiple senior panels performed.  If you think that Annie might be your perfect match, please email info@peteyandfurends.org.January 11, 2026, 10:22 am

Story
Sassy is a beautiful calico cat who is around 1.5-2 years old. This sweet girl hasn’t had the easiest life. Prior to our rescue taking her in, she was with another rescue who adopted out of Petco and Petsmart, where she was sent. Being in a glass box was not for Sassy. Being poked, prodded and stared at every day for hours upon hours turned her from a very loving cat to a very scared and withdrawn one. This is when the rescue decided to surrender her to us where we could safely put her in a foster home. She has been in a foster home for about 3 months and is thriving now. She has come out of her shell and learned she’s safe once again. No more glass boxes for her. The foster says this about her: Friendly Vocal – Loves to talk to you Loves to explore and roam around Loves cat trees Learning to love what toys are again Gets along with other cats, but prefers her own space Would do fine with older children, ideally no young ones for Sassy Dogs would be fine with slow introductions (refer to pictures with dog in the background) Wonderful lap cat Very Entertaining Inside Only Sassy is a calmer cat that loves to lay around and just hang out. Sassy is spayed, FIV/ FLV Tested negative, current on vaccinations, microchipped, will be seen by a vet and given a clean bill of health prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. Transport goes to the following locations: Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.
