Meet our sweet girl, Dakota, looking for her forever home. She is around 3 years old and has a calm, loving personality. We found her as a kitten on a farm and took her in, and she has been an affectionate companion ever since. She absolutely loves to cuddle and is happiest curled up next to you for naps or relaxing quietly around the house. Her temperament is very gentle, relaxed, and easygoing, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm and loving cat. Her exact birthday is unknown, but we estimate she was born sometime in May. We are hoping to find her a caring home where she can continue getting all the love and cozy naps she deserves.

I adopted Lani about two years ago at 1yr old & she has been such a sweet, comforting presence in my life ever since. She is still young and full of personality, with so much love to give to the right person. She’s a gentle, affectionate girl who enjoys being near her person—whether that’s curling up next to you, playing with toys, or just quietly keeping you company. She has a calm, soft energy but also has her playful moments where her personality really shines. I’m looking for a home where she will be truly loved, safe, and given the attention she deserves. Ideally, someone who is patient, kind, and wants a companion—not just a pet. She would do best in a stable environment where she can feel secure and continue to open up. If I had to describe her, I’d say she is: loving, gentle, curious, loyal, and a little bit shy at first—but once she trusts you, she’s incredibly sweet and rewarding. Rehoming her is not an easy decision, and I truly just want to find her the best next home.

JJ is very friendly and affectionate. He spends most of his time lying around the house or asking for pets.

She loves to play, chase the laser, and run on a wheel. She is gentle and sweet. She's great with children! Slow introductions to other cats is recommended but once she feels safe in their presence, she really doesn't pay them too much attention - she's more of a people cat than a cat's cat. Lulu would love to meet you! She has an approximate DOB of 1/27/24.

She is very sweet and just needs someone who has time, patience, and love to give. She is not a cat that is going to meet you at the door when you come for a visit, but she will be in the background watching you, waiting to see if you might notice her. She allows a slow hand and a gentle touch. We know that this beautiful girl has lots of warmth and love to give if someone would just take a chance on her and give her consistent attention and love. We do our best here at the rescue to give all of our pets tons of love, but it will never compare to the love that an owner can give. Rin came to GGOH from a private rescuer in Minnesota when she reached out for a little help. Rin was a stray so we have no previous history on her. DOB is approximately 1/1/2019. Rin has a quieter, shy personality; with the right home, she will be a great companion. She loves to play and snuggle with other cats, is active and healthy. She has a beautiful dilute calico coat that she keeps neat and clean. While Rin is very cat friendly, she is still quite reserved around humans - when meeting her, she generally will let you near her, but will move away if you attempt to pet her. She's worth the effort to get to know and has great potential, but it will take time for her to trust someone new. If you have the willingness to try and let her adjust at her own pace, she might be a great fit for you. We have not directly introduced Rin to dogs, but she has been in the room as they've walked by and she paid no attention to them whatsoever. Our guess is that in a home environment, she will likely act the same and over time, perhaps even become best buds with them. As Rin is still quite people reserved, we recommend older children only for her as youngsters often do not understand a cat's signals and Rin would not be too happy with a child rushing at her.
