Hello, My name is Birdy I will be two years old in July. I was born on a farm till I was about 6 or 8 weeks old, my new Family adopted me & nursed me back to health, I had lots of ear mites & round worms in my belly, I was a sick kitty but I am the picture of health now. I love to play, love to climb on my cat tree, If I move into your house I will need a cat tree to climb on & lots of toys to keep me busy. I like little kids, as long as they are nice to me, love big kids & all Adults, I like other cats & dogs, little or big Dogs. I love activity, I am extremely social. The ideal home for me would be a house with kids that are good with animals, & have time to play & pet me. Otherwise I get bored & sad. I am completely litter trained, never had an accident in the house. I only like gravel cat litter. I like wet and dry food, and love my treats. Ginger is a very sweet and loving middle aged female cat. We took Ginger home from a family farm as a kitten about 7 years ago. She is very friendly and has never attacked another pet or human. She likes to be around people or other cats. Ginger had an injury of some sort to one of her eyes. We think she is now blind in that eye. Other than that, she is in great health and in need of a loving home.

Rin came to GGOH from a private rescuer in Minnesota when she reached out for a little help. Rin was a stray so we have no previous history on her. DOB is approximately 1/1/2019. Rin has a quieter, shy personality; with the right home, she will be a great companion. She loves to play and snuggle with other cats, is active and healthy. She has a beautiful dilute calico coat that she keeps neat and clean. While Rin is very cat friendly, she is still quite reserved around humans - when meeting her, she generally will let you near her, but will move away if you attempt to pet her. She's worth the effort to get to know and has great potential, but it will take time for her to trust someone new. If you have the willingness to try and let her adjust at her own pace, she might be a great fit for you. We have not directly introduced Rin to dogs, but she has been in the room as they've walked by and she paid no attention to them whatsoever. Our guess is that in a home environment, she will likely act the same and over time, perhaps even become best buds with them. As Rin is still quite people reserved, we recommend older children only for her as youngsters often do not understand a cat's signals and Rin would not be too happy with a child rushing at her. The pain she must have endured is unimaginable. But through it all, she has been nothing short of amazing - she is the gentlest, sweetest soul. She doesn't fight for food or survival as you would expect her to - she's just living her best life in a safe, nurturing environment and is thriving, showing us just how perfect she truly is. She is still small, but she is gaining weight. Her fur is returning to normal. She's happy. And she's ready to find her forever home and family! Poppy gets along great with other cats/kittens and is gentle enough to be with kids of all ages. Georgia is currently living in a foster home with her brother Warhol. She's working on trusting people and is very timid. When she wants to be she is very sweet and loves being pet, on her terms. She is very skittish and her foster is continuing to work with her.She is scheduled to be altered, feline leukemia/FIV/HW tested and vaccinated.
