Toni and Gumdrop are two affectionate kittens looking for their forever home!These two are the dynamic duo you didn’t know you needed! Toni is a 6 month old, energetic grey kitten that likes to be around her human friends. Gumdrop is an 11 month old calico with lots of love to give! Toni’s day consists of playing, sleeping, and rough housing with Gumdrop. They are very close and make a perfect pair! Gumdrop’s hind legs are limited with running and jumping and she deals with daily sneezing. But this won’t stop her from climbing stairs and getting around just fine — she is healthy in all other respects! When it’s time for a rest, these two will happily settle down for a nap to recharge.Toni and Gumdrop currently live in a foster home with two adults. Their ideal home would be one with plenty of space to run around, with windows and doors to peer out of. Gumdrop can be shy, but with patience and love she will open up to you. Then she will like to be held and petted! Because of this, patient owners who will respect her space are ideal. Because she is reserved, a dog would likely be too intimidating for her. I adopted Tuna Melt from the humane society in 2024. She had been found in an abandoned house before being brought to the shelter. While she is an amazing cat, she requires someone with patience because it takes her a long time to open up. She can be a bit grumpy and hissy with new people. However, once she trusts you she can be affectionate and cuddly on her terms. She doesn't do well with other cats or children. She loves the cat tunnel, wet food, tube treats, playtime with the cat wand, and sleeping on the couch. Big windows to watch birds is also a plus!

Meet Dotty! <3 Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Meet Summer! This affectionate, easy-going, and confident calico/torby was born in April 2024. When you come home you’ll find Summer watching for you at the window. She will greet you at the door, entwine around your legs, then follow you around the house. Summer tolerates being picked up and held upright plus gives kitty kisses. When you are sitting, she often jumps into your lap or lets you place her there. Summer will stay for short sessions of petting or brushing, then she is off to investigate. Sometimes she just likes to sit near you. Summer likes to have a perch high enough to be able to watch wildlife out the window. She plays by herself with cat toys and interactively with wand toys. She is quiet until meal times when she lets you know you to hurry. Summer is on the dominate side with most cats. She hasn’t met dogs and if kids are respectful plus gentle, she should do fine with them. She eats a prescription diet of Biome or i/d cat food. Summer has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Snickers was a stray we took in. He roams in and out of the house. He is a bit skiddish of people until he warms up. He is not a fan of dogs or kids. He is OK with older kids that will respect his boundaries. He is currently in a home that isn't ideal due to kids and dogs. So we are trying to find his forever home so he can be happy.

Story

Pepper showed up at one of my feeding stations here on the east side Of St Paul. It didn’t take her long to be friendly cause she was very food motivated so before winter came, she was friendly enough. I could pick her up and put her into a carrier and I brought her inside. At first, she was a little aggressive with my cats but now she is fine. But a few months ago, she started losing weight, brought her to the vet and had a blood work done. It turns out she has hyperthyroidism which is a chronic condition unfortunately. Treatment for this condition is a small amount of cream medication put in her ears every day. She is a very sweet girl loves to sit on your lap. Loves to follow you around if she decides that you’re her human, you will know. I just want pepper to have the best life possible she deserves it. Pippa is roughly 3 years old, very sweet, playful, and an all day cuddler and snuggled. She very affectionate and loves to give kisses and kneed! She enjoys chasing her toys both alone and with someone, zooming around, adores anyone and everyone, loves pets, and butt pats, and adores bird/squirrel watching in windows.Pippa was living with a dog prior to us and did well, but had a hard time when we pet sat a family members cat. She is very good with kids.Although we do love Pippa, our home is very full and we aren't able to love her as much as we'd like to and feel she deserves a home where she can get the love and attention she deserves and needs. She is up to date on her shots, last seen in January 2026. She's healthy, just little overweight. Adoption fee includes two litter boxes + litter, cat carrier, food tree and water bowl, any toys we can find of her's, and any remaining food she has at the time.
