She loves to play, chase the laser, and run on a wheel. She is gentle and sweet. She's great with children! Slow introductions to other cats is recommended but once she feels safe in their presence, she really doesn't pay them too much attention - she's more of a people cat than a cat's cat. Lulu would love to meet you! She has an approximate DOB of 1/27/24.

Rin came to GGOH from a private rescuer in Minnesota when she reached out for a little help. Rin was a stray so we have no previous history on her. DOB is approximately 1/1/2019. Rin has a quieter, shy personality; with the right home, she will be a great companion. She loves to play and snuggle with other cats, is active and healthy. She has a beautiful dilute calico coat that she keeps neat and clean. While Rin is very cat friendly, she is still quite reserved around humans - when meeting her, she generally will let you near her, but will move away if you attempt to pet her. She's worth the effort to get to know and has great potential, but it will take time for her to trust someone new. If you have the willingness to try and let her adjust at her own pace, she might be a great fit for you. We have not directly introduced Rin to dogs, but she has been in the room as they've walked by and she paid no attention to them whatsoever. Our guess is that in a home environment, she will likely act the same and over time, perhaps even become best buds with them. As Rin is still quite people reserved, we recommend older children only for her as youngsters often do not understand a cat's signals and Rin would not be too happy with a child rushing at her. She is very sweet and just needs someone who has time, patience, and love to give. She is not a cat that is going to meet you at the door when you come for a visit, but she will be in the background watching you, waiting to see if you might notice her. She allows a slow hand and a gentle touch. We know that this beautiful girl has lots of warmth and love to give if someone would just take a chance on her and give her consistent attention and love. We do our best here at the rescue to give all of our pets tons of love, but it will never compare to the love that an owner can give. This momma needed a place to land with her sweet little ones and if you know anything about us, you know what we say about kittens - never leave them out there and NEVER leave the moms behind! Cookie has weened her kittens and is now ready to find her forever home. She is such a delightful young lady with a personality that will melt your heart. She's been residing in our lobby since saying farewell to her kittens and has done fabulously, entertaining and welcoming all who come through our doors. Aria is the absolute sweetest cat around. She is incredibly low maintenance (besides her Temptations treats) and is also amazing with kids. She’s a big cuddler and loves to purr on your lap. She’s a little later in life at 12 years old, but is still very healthy and active around the house. It truly breaks my heart to have to separate from her. My wife unfortunately developed an extremely strong allergy to cats to the point where she could lose her life. I’m just looking for someone who could give her the love and attention she so very deserves.

Mildred is a sweet, calm, and very laid back 2 year old. She is a bonded pair with Stanford so looking for a home for both of them!! She loves cuddling and will always jump into your lap if you are on the couch watching a movie. Mildred is quite mellow and typically does not enjoy playing individually but we have found that she has a love for knee hockey and will always be the first to go after the ball and stand in the net! She prefers curling up and taking naps in the sunshine and playing on her tower. Mildred has a younger brother (Stanford) that she has to stay with as they bonded. Due to our current location, we did not feel comfortable with letting her outside independently, but LOVES monitored time outside and running around in the grass. Mildred does amazing with litter boxes and has never had an accident. She is spayed. We are looking for a safe and loving home for our sweet girl.

Stanford can be a bit shy at first with new faces but once he warms up to you he is on his back ready for gentle belly rubs and ready to snuggle. He can definitely be lazy and take his daily naps but gets the zoomies frequently and loves to play and stay curious about his environment. Stanford has an older sister (Mildred) whom he is quite attached to and is always snuggling and therefore they will need to be adopted as a bonded pair. Sometimes, being the younger brother, he likes to test his limits with Mildred and play tag. You can always catch him sitting at a window watching for squirrels and birds. We do not feel comfortable letting him independently outside based on our location but he loves monitored time outside, running in the grass. He is neutered. We are hoping for a safe and loving home for our handsome boy.
