Zoey is about 9yrs old. She is affectionate and vocal and greets you like a dog. She loves to cuddle. She's good with not scratching furniture or carpet. She loves cardboard scratching boxes. She's lived with cats and dogs but probably would do best with just one or no others in home. We have found she is highly anxious by our young children. They move too fast and are too loud. She hides and cries out when they are near her. She has been living in the laundry room to help provide her quiet comfort and she is happy. However we are moving and don't have a space in new home to provide an escape. She comes with Breeze litter box and refills. A Breeze Litter Geanie, a soft sided carrier and self food and watter. She would be a GREAT companion for a Senior!!!

Story

Cleo is a beautiful girl- she is affectionate, but can be feisty too. She is 4 years old. She loves to look out the window, and I do let her outside from time to time- She sits on the deck, and enjoys the outdoors, but for long, as she will wonder, and enjoys her independence. I do adore her, and she makes me laugh. She is a lounger and is a little heavier, but not too overweight. Cleo has her special sleeping spot at the end corner of my bed. She is lovey dovey in the mornings, and will sit on my chest. She did catch a mouse once, so I know she is a hunter. She is very smart, and sometimes it seems she understand what I am saying. She doesn’t like me to sing- but I don’t blame her. haha. I want to see her in a loving home, with someone who can truly appreciate and find humor in her catlike ways. She does have a few toy mice, that she likes to leave for me, near my bed, or thrown around the living room. Cleo will follow you to every room, like a shadow.

Meet Kalla and Kimora (Kalla grey and white Kimora orange white grey) two sisters who have been in each other's business since birth. They are inseparable, co-dependent, and honestly kind of hilarious. They are professional nap buddies and synchronized window-bird-watchers. Kalla behaves like an older sister, does her own thing watch's what Kimora does. she loves her box's, high perches, and to sleep next to her person. Kimora loves the spotlight whatever you're doing shes curious and will be right beside you. She’s the one who wants all of the cuddles. They're the perfect snuggle buddies, they’ll curl up right next to you or on top of you.

Story

I adopted Chloe from the Animal Humane Society last January. She was an owner surrender who had lived with the family since she was a kitten. At the time of the adoption, I wasn't aware that she had 2 other cat companions in the home, and only found out a couple months afterwards when I inquired about why she was still exhibiting characteristics of being lonely. I live alone with no other pets in my house, and have come to the conclusion that she would probably be much happier in a home where she could get more attention then I'm able to give her. I believe she would also enjoy having a cat companion based on her previous experience in her last home Chloe isn't a lap cat, but she is social, usually staying in the same room that I'm in. She will be 6 in January, but still has a lot of energy and enjoys a lot of playtime.

Rin came to GGOH from a private rescuer in Minnesota when she reached out for a little help. Rin was a stray so we have no previous history on her. DOB is approximately 1/1/2019. Rin has a quieter, shy personality; with the right home, she will be a great companion. She loves to play and snuggle with other cats, is active and healthy. She has a beautiful dilute calico coat that she keeps neat and clean. While Rin is very cat friendly, she is still quite reserved around humans - when meeting her, she generally will let you near her, but will move away if you attempt to pet her. She's worth the effort to get to know and has great potential, but it will take time for her to trust someone new. If you have the willingness to try and let her adjust at her own pace, she might be a great fit for you. We have not directly introduced Rin to dogs, but she has been in the room as they've walked by and she paid no attention to them whatsoever. Our guess is that in a home environment, she will likely act the same and over time, perhaps even become best buds with them. As Rin is still quite people reserved, we recommend older children only for her as youngsters often do not understand a cat's signals and Rin would not be too happy with a child rushing at her. She is very sweet and just needs someone who has time, patience, and love to give. She is not a cat that is going to meet you at the door when you come for a visit, but she will be in the background watching you, waiting to see if you might notice her. She allows a slow hand and a gentle touch. We know that this beautiful girl has lots of warmth and love to give if someone would just take a chance on her and give her consistent attention and love. We do our best here at the rescue to give all of our pets tons of love, but it will never compare to the love that an owner can give. This is a spry adult cat aproximately 7 years old with the energy of a kitten and a spirit for adventure. He is lean and healthy and fast. He enjoys playing with toys, wet food, and experiencing the outdoors in whatever small ways he can. Will outwardly show his desire for affection and loves to be scratched on the head, around the ears, under his chin, and along his neck and back. If he likes you he may even sit on your lap to take a nap. Nico came into my home after my grandmother decided she didn't want him anymore and wanted to put him down within a couple days. I decided to intervine and took him in. Before my grandmother had him he was handed off by another family member who bought him as a kitten but couldnt commit to him once college started. I'm hoping Nico can finally have a compatible home. I live in a no pets apartment and cannot keep him forever. I am experienced with cats and understand his needs if you would like to discuss them.
