Hello,My name is Birdy I will be two years old in July. I was born on a farm till I was about 6 or 8 weeks old. I love to play, love to climb on my cat tree, If I move into your house I will need a cat tree to climb on & lots of toys to play with. I love activity, I am very social. The ideal home for me would be a house with kids that are good with animals, & have time to play & pet me. I love other cats and dogs. I am completely litter trained, never had an accident in the house. She loves to play, chase the laser, and run on a wheel. She is gentle and sweet. She's great with children! Slow introductions to other cats is recommended but once she feels safe in their presence, she really doesn't pay them too much attention - she's more of a people cat than a cat's cat. Rin came to GGOH from a private rescuer in Minnesota when she reached out for a little help. Rin was a stray so we have no previous history on her. DOB is approximately 1/1/2019. Rin has a quieter, shy personality; with the right home, she will be a great companion. She loves to play and snuggle with other cats, is active and healthy. She has a beautiful dilute calico coat that she keeps neat and clean. While Rin is very cat friendly, she is still quite reserved around humans - when meeting her, she generally will let you near her, but will move away if you attempt to pet her. She's worth the effort to get to know and has great potential, but it will take time for her to trust someone new. If you have the willingness to try and let her adjust at her own pace, she might be a great fit for you. We have not directly introduced Rin to dogs, but she has been in the room as they've walked by and she paid no attention to them whatsoever. Our guess is that in a home environment, she will likely act the same and over time, perhaps even become best buds with them. As Rin is still quite people reserved, we recommend older children only for her as youngsters often do not understand a cat's signals and Rin would not be too happy with a child rushing at her. She is very sweet and just needs someone who has time, patience, and love to give. She is not a cat that is going to meet you at the door when you come for a visit, but she will be in the background watching you, waiting to see if you might notice her. She allows a slow hand and a gentle touch. We know that this beautiful girl has lots of warmth and love to give if someone would just take a chance on her and give her consistent attention and love. We do our best here at the rescue to give all of our pets tons of love, but it will never compare to the love that an owner can give. Toni and Gumdrop are two affectionate kittens looking for their forever home!These two are the dynamic duo you didn’t know you needed! Toni is a 6 month old, energetic grey kitten that likes to be around her human friends. Gumdrop is an 11 month old calico with lots of love to give! Toni’s day consists of playing, sleeping, and rough housing with Gumdrop. They are very close and make a perfect pair! Gumdrop’s hind legs are limited with running and jumping and she deals with daily sneezing. But this won’t stop her from climbing stairs and getting around just fine — she is healthy in all other respects! Pullo is a seven-year-old neutered male. As of July 26 he is up to date on shots and worming meds. He would be best suited on a property where he could roam. He is content as a solitary cat but he is very friendly and likes people. He is especially affectionate toward his close care givers.
