Story
Charlie is 4 years old, she is energetic and funny to be around with. She likes to talk a lot and loves to hang around her two yorkie dog brothers. She loves the outdoors and loves to hangout indoors especially during the winter months. She is not aggressive with children she simply minds her business. She is litter trained but will also ask to go outside to relieve herself. She loves our two yorkies a lot but is not a fan of new dogs coming in the house. My husband and I are now expecting in July and we unfortunately cannot keep her because of allergies and cost. We are sad to say goodbye but we want to find a nice family for her to go to!

Story
She weaves in and out of your legs spinning a tale that could fill a diary. She's a happy girl who runs up to greet you  when you come home. While kittens are oodles of fun, there is a special pleasure in adopting a young cat who still has her youthful energy but whose personality is bit more developed!  Named after the young adult diary book, Go Ask Alice!, this literary cat gave birth to an adorable kitten litter of banned books and now deserves a loving home of her own.  Like the troubled runaway teen in Go Ask Alice!,  this beautiful calico kitty has been on a perilous journey in the outside world, and is now ready to be safe in her forever home.   She's surprisingly playful and a purrfect calico  just needs an experienced household  Young mamas sometimes lose their sense of their own body sometimes, and they get confused by affection. Alice will sometimes put her mouth on you when she's frustrated or when she's over stimulated (she doesn't like her backend petted), which may scare a child or someone not familiar with cat behavior. She never bites down and will stop when told but it is something to be mindful of; she just communicates with her teeth.   You can find our adoption process as well as a link to our application on our website:  https://sophialorangekittenrescue.com/adoption-instructions All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV.  They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment.  All litter trained of course. And we pre-register the microchip which will automatically transfer to you at adoption keeping us as secondary contact. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet. If you haven't had a chance, please also check out our public facebook page:   https://www.facebook.com/SophiaLOrangeKittenRescue/ Not only will it show you more pictures of our kitties, but also should give you a good idea about who we are as an organization, as fosters, and how our followers and adopters feel about us.  We do take time to get through the adoption process, but want you to feel comfortable that this means we are trying to do what's best for everyone.  We try to post daily about most of our rescue's kitties to share our adventures fostering with you, even if they aren't available for adoption yet; but also to show their personalities as best we can. We hope that by following along, you get to see how we rescue and foster, and how they flourish in care. We thank you all for all your care. There are a lot of wonderful kitties out there just waiting to be loved by someone special. And while we are a small rescue, we would love to help you find the right one for yours.  You can find our adoption process as well as a link to our application on our website:  https://sophialorangekittenrescue.com/adoption-instructions Please pay particular attention to steps 1 & 2. We include on our website details on how to prepare for a home visit, how to get ready for a new kitten, some useful guidance for introductions and reminders about taking time everyone needs.  ##1827905##

Story
“Kiki’s Delivery Service," a beloved anime movie, follows the journey of a girl finding her place in the world, aided by a beloved talking cat. Similarly, the kittens of Kiki’s Delivery Service are on a quest to find their special place in the world, and with your help, they can embark on their own magical adventures."Just like her namesake in Kiki's Delivery Service, this gorgeous calico kitty can be a little particular about who she trusts. But unlike the film's Kiki, this mama cat has already completed the last of her most important deliveries – all of the adorable Kiki’s Delivery Service kittens! Now spayed, after her hard work (we were told she had 6 litters!  prior to this last), she deserves a loving home of her own. While she might be cautious at first, Kiki’s playful affection will blossom once she knows you're here to stay. To win her over, try giving her ear scratches, which she absolutely adores! Story
This is Juicey from Cairo Egypt. She was hit by a car and needed her lower leg amputated. She was in a cage at the vet for months and is in a foster home who can no longer keep her! We have DAYS until there is no other option for her. She is a silly, SWEET, and cuddly girl. She likes her cat and dog siblings at her foster home but is the queen of the house. She can do anything except itch her neck with her missing leg so she appreciates when you help her do that! In the morning she is over the moon happy to see you and will make loving eye contact with purrs. She is a chatter box! Any loud noise or if she knocks something over will spook her. Please give her a forever home! She will arrived tested and vaccinated again Rabies, FELV, FIV, and distemper. She also has a microchip as well! Her fee includes this and her flight to New York where I live in Tarrytown. I am open to dropping her off or meeting someone halfway. No money is exchanged until you physically see her!

Story
Hi my name is Harley.  I am a very sweet girl.  It takes me a little while to trust you but I am loving little thing from the very start,  I am a dainty girl and I don't like to be treated rough at all.  I stay our of the fray when the boys are playing.  I am usually on the sidelines watching or playing with Dart.  While we have totally different personalities.  I am the dainty one and Dart is the rambunctious one.  We would absolutely love to be adopted together.  I am always looking for him and he looks out for m.  I am great with all the 4 legged creatures here and I love my foster mom!  She took such good care of me when I was abandoned as a tiny baby.   To be considered for my forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Dart is actually in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
I adopted abbey when she was 2 years old, about a year and a half ago. The adoption center told me she was good with cats but let’s just say that wasn’t true.she is a amazing cat who loves to be under you every second of the day and will chase a laser for hours, very playful but it does takes a while for her to get comfortable she hid the first two days I brought her home..I’m moving from my house to an apartment that doesn’t allow cats and I can’t leave her with my sister at this house due to the other cats here. She is too good of a cat to get put down or put back in a shelter. GREAT CAT FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT OTHER CATS. I’m even willing to pay someone to take her as long as she goes to a hood home.
