Flora is the most demanding of attention of her siblings. She has a lot of energy and raises up to meet your hand when you reach down pet her. She is nervous at first with new people but once she realizes you’re her buddy she wants to be involved in everything you are doing. She hasn’t quite become comfortable being held and prefers to stand on her own feet. She likes sleeping on the end of the bed and loves treats, grabbing your hand to guide the treat to her mouth. She would love to have a home with her sister, Merryweather, or another cat to hang out with. She is 11 months old. She is currently in a foster home. Merryweather is the most cautious of her siblings. It takes her longer to warm up to people than her sister, Flora, but she is very food motivated and is happy to take treats and get pets once you pay the treat toll. She will need time to adjust to her new home. A cautious cat is the one who survives in the wild, but takes more effort on the owners part to earn their trust and affection. She will need a quiet home and maybe a sister to help her adjust. She loves playing with a laser pointer so laser dots beware, your days are numbered! She is 11 months old. There is not much known about my history before coming to the shelter but it seems someone had been caring for me for awhile. The shelter staff noticed I was on the thin side and ran a blood panel, turns out I have early chronic kidney disease, right now I am just on a prescription kidney diet which the shelter will send home with me. Hi there, I'm Mai! I am a sweet kitty who's waiting for my perfect human to scoop me up and take me home! I had a rough start here at the shelter - I was brought in by some kind folks who found me and my litter of little ones, but I was resourceful and snuck out of their carrier. The team here were able to catch me and bring me in, which I have found out is a wonderful thing!
