Topsy was a fostered kitten who wound up as a family pet. She is the last of several cats and dogs who were fostered by my wife at our home in NC. Consequently, she adapted well with numerous cats and dogs while having complete indoor/outdoor access. Unfortunately, after moving to a a 55+ community, she is no longer able to enjoy the outdoors and has been living in a condo for the past 3 years. I recently discovered that my girlfriend who visits frequently is having allergic reactions. While this is not necessarily an immediate crisis’ situation, I would like to see if we can find a new home for her.

Zoey was found on the streets. She is a little shy at first but with some playtime and treats she melts for attention. Her foster family says they simply walk by and she starts purring. Chloe was an outdoor cat that I adopted last year, April 2022. She has all her shots and is healthy. Unfortunately, Chloe prefers to be in a house with no other pets, or senior/adult cats that won't bother her. Her preference would be a single person household so she can have all of your attention. She doesn't scratch furniture and isn't much of a table/counter jumper, she is pretty mellow. This breaks my heart to rehome her, but the stress of the younger cats is too much for her.

A new bio for Splash will be posted soon. Dabble was just adopted.   Dabble (adopted 9/21/23) is a sweet, affectionate white kitten with a dab of gray on her head. Splash (still waiting for her forever family) is her little sister, a Tabby with a splash of orange/tabico.   When Dabble and her sister Splash wake up in the morning the very first thing they do is attack the cardboard scratcher. After they have stretched and scratched, they make it their business to be in whatever room I am in. And they do not like closed doors. Oh, and they are social eaters so expect to hang out with them while they are eating a meal.    Dabble and Splash have an endless supply of curiosity. Their energy levels are also quite high. They love to chase each other through the house, up and down the stairs. Look out if they are in one of their marathon moments! They run so fast down the stairs they barely touch the steps! And they literally play so hard and so long that they're panting afterwards.   Dabble's favorite things to play with are plastic spring toys and sometimes even her tail. When she wants affection she will ask for it politely with a 'meow.'    Splash also likes spring toys and mouse toys. She's been known to hold one in her mouth and walk around the house growling, 'It's mine. All mine. '   Both girls go crazy for wand toys!   When they are exhausted from playing, they will curl up in whatever room you are in. Please meet Polly! Can you believe it? This pretty girl was abandoned! I guess we will never know why. She has been both sweet and well behaved. Her face is just the best! Truly heartbroken writing this but we are looking to re-home my furry best friend. We got Frankie from the SPCA as a kitten and I quickly fell in love with him! He has been with us for over 2 years. He came with us when he was around 2 months in 2021. He came after Covid when we were both working from home and has really loved all the attention he gets. He can be a little needy at times but just loves being loved on. I love him so much but with the upcoming new arrival of our daughter we are looking for a home for him that will love him as much as we do! He can play a little aggressively and does get overstimulated from a ton of attention. It’s for those reasons we are looking for a home where he will be so loved on. Adjectives to describe him would be friendly, inquisitive, active and adorable!

Meet Eunice! This gorgeous lady was found on the streets but she was not made for street life! She came to us with extensive dental disease, pyometra (a deadly uterine infection), and horrible skin from fleas. Thankfully with a bit of medical care, she is feeling much better! This princess loves the royal treatment - soft beds, lots of pets, plenty of food and a nice, quiet spot to take a nap! Eunice is extremely friendly and oh boy, is she a talker! She loves to tell you all about her day and will gladly have a conversation with anyone who wants to chat! She also loves pets, wand toys, and snacks! Eunice is not a huge fan of dogs so she is looking for a home without them. She seems to be fine with cats with proper intros. She loves being the center of attention but is happy to just snuggle and binge!
