Petunia was found on the streets with her sister. She is confident, playful, sweet, loves to play fetch, catch, really enjoys belly rubs and a nice warm lap to nap on. She is also a little chatter box and will have a conversation with you. She tends to talk whenever someone sneezes too. She is also a goof, if she is laying on your lap or legs you must be prepared to catch her because when she rolls over for a belly rub she doesn't realize she may fall off of you. She loves everybody, and when she's not seeking out attention, she enjoys playing and exploring, especially with her friends. She loves the crinkle tube and chasing after the little balls. She also really enjoys the wand toy! When she's done playing, she snuggles with the older cats on the windowsill. We are told she is about 9 months old, but she only weighs 4 pounds and she acts like a younger kitten. But she will likely just be a tiny perpetual kitten! She's great with cats, dogs and kids. She'll make a great addition to your home! This cat is spayed, microchipped, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. Sundae and her brother Butterscotch are scheduled to arrive at our Christiana PetSmart adoption center on 8/17. Please meet Sundae!  Sundae is a very sweet girl! She is social and likes to be around her humans, checking in frequently for a quick cuddle. She loves sleeping cuddled up on her foster human’s chest at night. She is fairly calm and gentle, but also curious and playful. She is a quiet kitty, rarely meowing and has a gentle purr. She prefers to choose when she wants to come in for attention. She has perfect litterbox manners. She showed cautious interest when introduced to other cats and a calm dog. She stood her ground when a more excited dog sniffed her and slapped the dog’s nose without claws. She should do well with relatively calm dogs. Want to adopt a pair? Meet Marta!  With her beautiful white coat, lovely tabico markings, and the sweetest little face, Marta is a young girl who is just beginning to discover what it feels like to be safe and loved.  She is also becoming a very playful happy cat.  Please see video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/A4GFZua9jbc . Marta’s story began on the streets, where one of our volunteers found her searching for food in a garbage can. It was heartbreaking to see such a gentle soul struggling to survive with no one looking out for her. Now safely in our care, Marta is showing us what a sweetheart she truly is. Although she’s still settling in, she already enjoys gentle affection, has an incredibly soft coat to match her soft personality, and seems to be getting along well with the other cats around her. We’re still getting to know this lovely little lady, and we’ll update her bio as her personality continues to blossom. We have a feeling Marta is going to make one lucky family very happy.
