Bob is a big fellow with a chill personality. He is roughly ten years old and has been by my mom's side the entire. Unfortunately, due to her dementia she can no longer care for Bob. Meet Mao-Mao! She's a beautiful 12 year old Torbie who is the sweetest thing. Mao-Mao still has a playful side, but also enjoys lounging and looking out the window. She loves her cheeks and chin rubbed. Also, she's not opposed to kisses on her forehead. This doesn't mean she doesn't like her body touched, though. She flops on the floor and gratefully accepts belly rubs; they just have to be on her terms. She does have arthritis and high blood pressure which she's on medication, Gabapentin and Amlodipine. She's been doing great on these medications. Mao-Mao doesn't do well with dogs, but she would be ok with older, gentle kids, and would prefer to be the only pet. Like all Purrfect Pals felines, Mao-Mao has been altered, microchipped, viral tested, and up to date on her vaccines. She may take some time to warm up to new people and her surroundings, but once she does, she will show her playful and loving side. Ms. Friskies and Ms. Fancy Feast are recent graduates from our Monroe Prison Foster program. They both needed more socialization. They have done very well being back at our shelter and are now ready for their forever home.
