Story
This cat adopted us and wouldn't leave our yard last winter. We tried to find the owner. She was really hungry so we started feeding it outside. It used to visit our cat before he passed away. She was extremely skittish at first and would run away. She started warming up a bit but we thought she was Ferrell or abused. We took her to the vet & found out she's spade but not a chip. Someone owned her at some point. Most likely abused her. We are fostering her until we find a loving owner. She keeps very clean. Great with calm environment with men or women or older quiet teens. Vet Doc confirmed she is approx. 2-1/2 years old-. Don't believe she's had shots. She can light bite at times when she wants attention. or reach out to try snag you for more petting. Indoor/Outdoor for potty with pet door. She is litter box trained. A farm or quiet neighborhood setting good. She's lived outside in past. eats wet tuna pate & dry grain free food. She likes to be brushed out in the morning.

Meet Gumball!  (In Texas)Gumball is a sweet and shy girl who was brought to her finder's patio by her Momma along with her siblings in May of 2023.  She may be a bit reserved at first, but she truly blossoms into a loving and cuddly companion once she gets to know you.Gumball absolutely adores being brushed.  She completely enjoys her morning and evening snuggles. Gumball's favorite pastimes include sitting in the window and bird watching - she's truly a little observer of the world. If you're looking for a furry friend who will be by your side through thick and thin, Gumball is the perfect addition to your family.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Amy is the most adorable, loveable, dare devil there is! She will run to greet you every time you walk into the room, loves to be held like a baby, purring the second you pick her up, and will hold your face and give you kisses.Amy would need a feline friend to help her be her best self. Amy has a lot of energy and enjoys rough play so she will need a patient friend (preferably one who is bigger then her and can match and perhaps temper her play style to take the crazy down a notch).  Amy is an endlessly curious, fearless girl with the full Tortie-tude energy. Her curiosity got her into a little scrape before she was found and she had a pretty big injury to her back foot. She's all healed up now and has the cutest little three-toed foot, which we think adds to her unique charm but has not slowed her down for one moment. Amy loves to cuddle with her people and her feline friends, has learned to tolerate cat-friendly dogs, and is looking for a home with lots of climbing possibilities and adventures!I've never seen her back down from a challenge or run in fear from anything. She doesn't do anything in life in half measures and is looking for people who will cherish her for her crazy, adventure-loving, affectionate self!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Introducing the one and only, the one and only Carrie! This little ball of fur is more captivating than a magic show and more enchanting than a fairytale. Prepare to be absolutely delighted in her presence. And get this, she's not just your average feline, she's a hidden jewel with a heart of gold that shines brighter than any blinged-out diamond. Let me tell you, Carrie didn't have an easy start in life. Oh no, she was a street-smart survivor, battling it out in the concrete jungle. She had to dodge other animals, find her own shelter, and scavenge for food. Talk about a rough life! But despite it all, she never let her spirit break. Now get this - Carrie is a VIP in the rescue cat world. She's got the FIV badge of honor. It used to be a terrifying diagnosis, but not anymore! FIV cats are living the good life, just like any other feline. Sure, Carrie needs some extra TLC for her upper respiratory system, but hey, we all have our quirks, right? And guess what? FIV cats can even hang out with other FIV cats and dogs. They're just as deserving of love and affection as any other furry friend. So, if you're ready to welcome a rare gem into your life, look no further than Carrie. She's got love to spare and joy to spread. She's patiently waiting to complete someone's heart and become the cherished member of a loving family. Don't miss out on this extraordinary opportunity to experience the magic that Carrie brings. Trust me, it'll be a purr-fectly amazing adventure! Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for. We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters, and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes, our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you can see our posts.  Unfortunately Meet & Greets has been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animal travel has been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and have been very successful.  Please look at our adopter’s reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##1657175##

Story
Meet Biz and Ryder, the dynamic duo of the feline world! These charming sisters, with their striking black and white markings, are affectionately known as cow cats. As seniors in the cat world, they've mastered the art of grace and wisdom over the years. Ryder, the outgoing sibling, is always the first to greet you with a friendly meow and a gentle head nudge. She's the social butterfly of the pair, effortlessly making friends wherever she goes. Ryder's playful spirit and adventurous nature make her the life of the party. On the other paw, Biz is the more reserved of the two. She's content to observe the world from a cozy spot by the window, quietly taking in the sights and sounds of the day. Despite her quiet demeanor, Biz has a heart of gold and a deep well of affection for those she trusts.
