She’s a tiny calico with dark, beautiful coloring, cute white socks, and a little white nose. Bubbles is shy at first and may retreat if the world feels too fast, but slow movements and a calm voice go a long way. Once the pets begin, she melts—leaning into your hand and quietly sticking close. She prefers gentle play over chaos and is a big fan of hugging her ball tower, enjoying catnip toys, and carefully digging for treats. She’ll happily track a feather wand, even if she’s still deciding whether pouncing is really necessary. She would truly shine in a calmer home with older, respectful kids who understand that sweet kittens sometimes need a minute. Bubbles does well with other cats and would enjoy a feline companion. Her siblings Blossom, Buttercup, Ace, and Mojo Jojo are also adoptable, each bringing their own Powerpuff-style personality to the table. I'm hoping to find a loving home for Serafina and her sister Lily—ideally together. They’re both beautiful, spayed cats who came to us a year ago when my daughter asked if we could care for them on behalf of a friend. Now that she’s away at college and our apartment doesn’t allow pets, I’m heartbroken to be in this position. These two have brought so much joy into our lives. Lily is the larger of the two and an affectionate snuggler. Serafina is more independent—she enjoys attention on her own terms—but every night she curls up on my legs to sleep, which is her special way of showing love. Thank you for considering Serafina and Lily. They truly are wonderful companions. I’m ready to provide everything they need for a smooth transition, including two lidded litter containers, food dishes, and a cat carrier.

A day in the life of a house cat such as myself. Its a new reality for me. My name is Bengal. I was picked up from Waukegan animal control. I was labeled a stray. Before that I was a pet, I belonged to someone. I found myself alone, pregnant and worried for my future. I am living a blessed life at the moment. I am safe, loved and I enjoyed safely raising my kittens in a lovely foster home. I get along wonderfully with my babies. I love humans of all ages and I am cuddly. Friendly is a great descriptive word for myself. I very much enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones, basking in the sunrays, playing with a few cat toys and lounging amongst soft blankets and pillows. I am FIV+ but in great health. In most cases cats that eat well, stay healthy and stress very little will end up living a good life span. I can live with other dogs and cats. I am not contagious to cats as long as we have no aggressive behaviors. I am fairly independent but wouldnt mind an animal friend. Hi! I'm Samantha! If I look familiar (because who could forget this face), you're right! I have been at the shelter before. I used to be known as Callie several years ago. My best friend, Charlotte (then Buttercup), and I were adopted from the shelter as kittens 4 years ago. A couple of years after that, we were returned when our human got married. We were adopted again pretty quickly after that ... but then they returned us to do other things with their lives. Which I guess didn't include us. So here we are. I am a sweet and playful calico girl. Right now, I am a little on the shy side. (I am really a confident girl at heart, but I am feeling a little confuddled as I get used to being back at the shelter.) I like hanging out in the kitty condo in our cat tree right now—and they've also built me a kind of fort that I love being in. I will come out of my fort and rub against you, looking for attention. We are not high-maintenance girls—I don't know why our humans wouldn't make plans with us in them. We are now waiting for someone who will promise to love us forever. Is that you?
