Zeus was s the perfect guard dog. He barks if there’s anyone walking up to your property… he’s super loyal and he’s friendly and everyone loves him. We don’t have time to take him for walks and let him roam. We just want him to go to a good home. The picture is old from 2022. Ears and tail is clipped. We paid over 2k for him but we just don’t have time to really give him attention.

Rescues are permitted to pull on 2/21/26; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian. This is Colt. We rescued him from the shelter in October of 2025. They said at the time he appeared to be a year old. He is great with other dogs, no issues whatsoever. We unfortunately do not have the time needed to properly train him. He loves to play, he loves toys, he obviously loves to be lazy and nap at times as you can see in his photos. :) He is neutered and microchipped, he has all of his vaccinations from the shelter listed on his paperwork. We are looking for a loving home that will spoil him.

She’s had a few medical hurdles — a tuft of hair that used to grow into her eye and cherry eye in both eyes — but all have been treated.
