Story

Gwinevere of Arboretum was found wandering our neighborhood in North Fontana. I was told by Animal Control that neighbors were attempting to catch her for 2 weeks before we managed to help her. We don't know her age, but she was in rough shape when we got her: dehydrated, very little food, low weight, and a saggy tummy that makes me think she was used as a backyard breeding operation. My son and daughter have pet her through the glass sliding door, and Gwin is VERY submissive to humans. She's excited to see people, she jumps up a bit, placing her paws on your chest (I'm 6'2"). Her face is wrinkly, so when she gets excited, she looks a bit fiercer than she really is. Otherwise, she's a sweet heart. I have let her meet my dog (female boxer/pit mix) 3 times, and all 3 times, Gwin growled but did not bite or attack my dog. Perhaps she could integrate with other dogs with some proper training and socializing, but anyone looking for an adult Cane Corso would be happy with Gwin.
