Story
Ace is a 2½ year old Cane Corso. He’s a loving, sleepy, loyal companion who loves being near his people and lounging by the fire. Ace grew up with our family, we have had him since he was a puppy.He gets along wonderfully with our female dog (4-year-old Aussie), but unfortunately, he and our male Golden Retriever haven’t been able to get along, which is why we’re looking for a new home that better suits his needs. Ace did complete a board-and-train program about a year ago, and he has a good foundation of training. Listens when is called, can sit, lay, wait, etc. He still has a few behavior quirks that could use some time and consistency, something our current schedule doesn’t allow for. He’ll thrive best with someone experienced with large breeds or willing to continue his training and give him structure and patience. In the right home, Ace will make an incredibly loyal and loving companion. He’s cuddly, calm, and happiest when he’s near his people.

Honey is a 6 year old female anatolian shepherd Honey was "rescued" by an organization called Delaneys Dog in June 2022 aling with "Sugar" the husky. They were pulled from Animal Friends of the Valley Shelter in October 2022. Delaneys dog reacue re-dumped the 2 dogs at a boarding facility in the high desert area, they left them there and never came back or paid their bill. The owner of the boarding facility recently passed and these dogs were in danger of re-entering the shelter system, but we stepped up and brought them into our care. Sugar is just about the sweetest dog I've ever met. I can definitely see how she got her name, which was given to her by valley shelter staff back in 2022. She is spayed and gets along with every dog she's ever met. She can be pushy with her affection--so if you're working from home and don't want to be interrupted for pats regularly, she's not the one. She will come check on you and get a little ear scratch every so often, nudging and nuzzling your hand till you give her lovin'. Spayed and great with dogs, chickens, the cat, and all the people she meets. Gently and mellow. When she's not curled up next to me on the rug, she can be found lounging outside under the tree. She is protective of our yard and scary looking at the fence, but once the people are inside she just wants love. Beautiful temperament, such a lovely dog--over the years, there have been a few foster dogs that I truly wish I could keep, and this is one of those times... Honey is now 100% potty trained, she knows sit and paw, she's spayed and vaccinated, and her adoption fee is $250
