Ruby is a six year old American Pitbull Terrier/Cain Corso mix from a hoarding case where she endured physical abuse and many hungry nights. We suspect that Ruby was born and raised in that environment and has never received exposure to the outside world. Due to this, it takes Ruby some time to warm up to you.Once she does, she is an in your pocket type of pup! A wonderful sponsor is willing to cover my adoption cost of $225.00 so I can be adopted and enjoy being someone's best friend! All adopters must be vetted and approved to adopt from FOCCAS.Ruby has a way of making you feel wanted, when she greets you with a wagging nub and sweet face after a long day! Max is updated on shots, neutered, loved kids, love being petted. He has a smaller dog in the house and plays with her and has never hurt her. However, the smaller dog will whimper and cry, he told to go to place. He’s a gentle giant . The kids has pulled his tail, sat on him back, pulled his legs and he has never hurt them at all. The kids ages are 5 years and 6 years old.. He will bark when he hears something outside and will bark if someone is coming to the house . He has been introduced to strangers and once he smells their hand, he’s fine. He will allow the stranger that he didn’t know to pet him. I selected a place in my house that I call Place and will say to him to go to Place. He will stay for awhile but if I get up and move, he will follow me wherever I go including the bathroom (he tried but I don’t allow him to come in)… He tried playing with my 5 lbs Maltese but she growls at him and shows her little teeth and when he tried playing with her, she whimper and cry
