Don’t let his size fool you—this big baby is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet. He’s always smiling, wagging his tail, and looking for pets and love. Tank adores his blanket and absolutely loves playing in water. With the proper introductions, Tank does well with other dogs. He’s also had some gentle and positive experiences around a baby—showing nothing but care and affection. Unfortunately, his current owner has developed a severe dog allergy that has worsened over the past year. It’s become increasingly difficult to care for Tank without risking their health. They are heartbroken but hopeful to find the perfect new home for him—one where he’ll be cherished, spoiled, and given all the love he deserves. Every question must be answered, and it must be signed.-Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.-You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.-Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!).
