You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This gorgeous boy is Bubba! He is a 1-2 year old Mastiff (perhaps Cane Corso), weighing about 100 pounds. Poor Bubba was scared and shut down in a crowded shelter but is quickly coming out of his shell. Bubba is a truly special boy. He is so sweet and extremely affectionate. Although still a little reserved, we have seen his silly playful side too! Bubba has been friendly to everyone and seems to bond very quickly. Once he feels safe with you, you can expect to have a very large dog in your lap! Bubba will need someone who is willing to be patient and go slow with him as he acclimates to a new family and a new life. Bubba has shown no interest in other dogs. We are looking for a relatively calm home with no other pets for Bubba. We believe he deserves to have all the focus and attention on him without the stress of other pets. Bubba is microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He will be neutered upon adoption. Cypress is now available for adoption after entering the shelter as a stray. He is a big dude looking for a family with large breed/Cane Corso experience so he is set up for success in a new home. He doesn't seem to mind the other shelter dogs so far, but we are still getting to know his personality so meet and greets will be essential. Come on in and meet him any day of the week! All Perth Amboy Animal Shelter residents will be fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. You must be 23 or older to adopt from the shelter, complete an Adoption Application and pay the associated adoption fee. The application must be approved by the shelter staff and all adoptions are finalized based on the best interests of our animals.
