We got Cain when he was 8 weeks old. He’s very protective of his family. We are unable to give him the life that he deserves due to my husband’s illness. Cain will be 4 years old in October. He’s not friendly he needs to warm up to people. He’s at home all the time he got too big to take to the vet or groomer. He’s not fond of grooming but he’s a very sweet loving dog to his family.

Ruby is a six year old American Pitbull Terrier/Cain Corso mix from a hoarding case where she endured physical abuse and many hungry nights. We suspect that Ruby was born and raised in that environment and has never received exposure to the outside world. Due to this, it takes Ruby some time to warm up to you.Once she does, she is an in your pocket type of pup! A wonderful sponsor is willing to cover my adoption cost of $225.00 so I can be adopted and enjoy being someone's best friend! All adopters must be vetted and approved to adopt from FOCCAS.Ruby has a way of making you feel wanted, when she greets you with a wagging nub and sweet face after a long day! She is very quiet and doesn't mind other dogs but would do best with a Male. She likes long walks and is doing well with leash training, and knows sit,down, touch and shake already! She does excellent when her foster mom bathes her and clips her nails, and is very patient.She is sweet and gentle until something scares her, then she jumps. She's good on a leash until something startles her, then she pulls.... And she's strong. She's a beautiful girl. Loving and gentle, loves attention but hates excitement. She's not a guard dog, she'll hide behind you in the threat of great danger, or if a butterfly scares her. Quiet, soft, and sweet Ruby, she wants to be right at your feet. Ruby needs to be an only dog.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Rose is a beautiful 1-year-old Cane Corso with a big heart and a strong bond with her people. She came into our lives full of personality, loyalty, and affection, and she has truly been a loving companion in our home. She is happiest when she feels safe and included in the family’s daily routine. Inside the home, Rose is calm, well-behaved, and loves relaxing in her safe space, she is crate trained and often chooses her crate on her own when she wants to rest. She already knows basic commands, and she responds well when given clear guidance and consistency. Rose is still young and learning, and like many Cane Corsos, she can be protective and cautious in new environments. She does best with confident leadership and would thrive in a home that understands large breeds and is willing to continue her training. She is especially loving with her people and forms strong bonds quickly. She would likely do best in a home without other pets or small children, where she can have structure.
