That`s simply not her journey.She`s wonderful on walks, prefers to stop and smell every flower, and fully embraces the finer things in life. Pup cups? Yes. Massages? Obviously. Being told she`s the most beautiful girl you`ve ever seen? Required.Chloe is a strong lady with some big feelings, and when excitement gets the best of her she may grab at hands with her mouth as a way of expressing herself. Her future family should be comfortable with her size and ready to continue helping her learn more appropriate ways to channel that excitement.When it comes to other dogs, Chloe is a little socially awkward. She`s not looking to be the life of the party—she`d much rather have a calm, confident canine friend who isn`t fazed by her enthusiastic personality. She`s also lived successfully with children and would do best with kids who are comfortable around a large dog and won`t be overwhelmed by her size.Chloe has so much love to give and enough personality to keep you laughing every single day. We fell for her almost immediately, and we`re pretty sure you`ll be just as smitten. Due to my busy schedule and living situation, I thought it best it was time to re-home her to a loving family that has the time and resources necessary to care for her properly. She loves to be around people especially kids and other dogs although she can be a bit timid and shy at first. PEPPA (watch my video!) Female ~7 months old Cane Corso mix 37 lbs. Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Amazing with dogs and kids; untested with cats Sweet, little Peppa landed at the Prince George’s County Animal Shelter in mid-August and IMMEDIATELY became a volunteer favorite! Her little nubbin of a tail never stops wiggling and she just adores everyone she meets! LOVEPAWS was able to swoop in and save this girl so she can begin her path to healing. Right now she’s battling: An upper respiratory infection (hello, boogers!) Painful entropion in both eyes (we have surgery scheduled) A positive erlichia test (100% preventable with monthly flea/tick prevention!) ✂️ A docked tail that’s still healing ⚖️ Severe underweight — she came into the shelter thin and kept losing weight while there. She’s now only 37 lbs We believe (and a vet confirmed!) that she’s likely around 7 months old and a Cane Corso mix. Peppa loves stuffies and chews, but more than anything, she just wants to be with her people. She adores other dogs and when it's time to be quiet, she always seeks out her foster brother to snuggle up and nap with. We CANNOT WAIT for her to learn that the world is safe ✨, that no one is going to hurt her, and that from here on out, she will only know love.   Interested in adopting? Of course you are! Zoey is the most amazing dog, she wants to be your BFF!Zoey is a sweet dog 2yo. She's agile, loyal, energetic, and super eager to please.We adopted Zoey, a little over a year ago, and seriously don't want to give her up, but realise it's not fair to keep her, and she needs a better home than we can provide.Zoey struggles with other dogs, she gets really anxious around them, and gets really triggered if they are on the otherside of a piece of glass. She may fight with another dog if a triggering event occurs. I have 2 children on the spectrum in the house, triggering events occur, and so she and our other dog don't work together.She loves people (and cats)! She appreciates clear instruction, a schedual, and lots of time with her person. She is a bit anxiouse and may require meds to manage that. Zoey has one back paw that isn't quite right. She sometimes uses it when walking, sometimes not. But she doesn't let it hold her back one bit.She is amazing!
