Despite his impressive size, Big Daddy is really just a lovable guy who wants to be part of the family. He’s friendly with people, does well with other dogs, and absolutely LOVES kids. Because he’s a big, strong boy who may occasionally forget just how much real estate he takes up, older children would be the best fit. Big Daddy loves going for walks, hopping in the car for an adventure, hanging out with his canine friends, and playing with his toys. But don’t let his size fool you. This big guy is also perfectly happy parked on the couch beside his people, soaking up attention and enjoying the good life. Even better, Big Daddy is crate trained AND house trained, so he already has some pretty important household manners under his belt. He’s affectionate, social, goofy, and loyal. Ruby is a six year old American Pitbull Terrier/Cain Corso mix from a hoarding case where she endured physical abuse and many hungry nights. We suspect that Ruby was born and raised in that environment and has never received exposure to the outside world. Due to this, it takes Ruby some time to warm up to you.Once she does, she is an in your pocket type of pup! A wonderful sponsor is willing to cover my adoption cost of $225.00 so I can be adopted and enjoy being someone's best friend! 🐾 MEET SUGAR 🐾Available soon 9 months old • Cane Corso • 80 lbs • Female Sugar is a beautiful 9-month-old Cane Corso who is already about 80 pounds of gentle giant — and she’s looking for the right person to continue showing her what life with a family is supposed to be like. Sugar was kept by her breeder, but unfortunately she was largely left to run on her own. She came to us with no formal training, no vaccinations, no spay, and very little socialization with people. So right now, Sugar is learning a whole new world — and she is learning FAST. ❤️ Because she wasn't properly socialized, Sugar can be unsure when meeting someone new. She may give a small growl at first while she figures you out; and because she isn't the type of dog who instantly trusts everyone — her trust needs to be earned. But once you earn it, you get to see the Sugar we're getting to know. Despite everything she missed during her first nine months, Sugar has shown us just how gentle she can be. She has not chased, growled at, or snapped at any of the dogs in the home, and she hasn't attempted to chase the cat. She is curious, learning boundaries and becoming more comfortable every day. She is mostly housebroken, although we say that lightly because she isn't being given free range of the house yet. She will occasionally pee in her kennel, but she has not had any bowel-movement accidents in her kennel. Sugar already has some important things on her calendar: ❤️ Spay appointment — September 4th - now spayed! 🐾 Following recovery, Sugar will be assessed by Mason Dixon Canine for boarding/training so we can better understand her needs and give her the foundation she never received as a puppy. Zoey is the most amazing dog, she wants to be your BFF!Zoey is a sweet dog 2yo. She's agile, loyal, energetic, and super eager to please.We adopted Zoey, a little over a year ago, and seriously don't want to give her up, but realise it's not fair to keep her, and she needs a better home than we can provide.Zoey struggles with other dogs, she gets really anxious around them, and gets really triggered if they are on the otherside of a piece of glass. She may fight with another dog if a triggering event occurs. I have 2 children on the spectrum in the house, triggering events occur, and so she and our other dog don't work together.She loves people (and cats)! She appreciates clear instruction, a schedual, and lots of time with her person. She is a bit anxiouse and may require meds to manage that. Zoey has one back paw that isn't quite right. She sometimes uses it when walking, sometimes not. But she doesn't let it hold her back one bit.She is amazing!
