Zoey is the most amazing dog, she wants to be your BFF!Zoey is a sweet dog 2yo. She's agile, loyal, energetic, and super eager to please. We adopted Zoey, a little over a year ago, and seriously don't want to give her up, but realise it's not fair to keep her, and she needs a better home than we can provide.Zoey struggles with other dogs, she gets really anxious around them, and gets really triggered if they are on the otherside of a piece of glass. She may fight with another dog if a triggering event occurs. I have 2 children on the spectrum in the house, triggering events occur, and so she and our other dog don't work together. She loves people (and cats)! She appreciates clear instruction, a schedual, and lots of time with her person. She is a bit anxiouse and may require meds to manage that. Zoey has one back paw that isn't quite right. She sometimes uses it when walking, sometimes not. But she doesn't let it hold her back one bit.She is amazing!

Story
🐾 Looking for a Loving Home for Mbaku 🐾 Mbaku is a great dog with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for his people. He’s active, playful, affectionate and loves attention, fetch and toss. He is housebroken and crate trained and knows sit, down, drop it, take it (his command to eat) and inside (go to his crate). Mbaku has always had another dog by his side, but we recently had to say goodbye to his longtime buddy. He’s been a little sad without his friend, and our family is adjusting to the loss too. With our two older sons leaving for college and the military, our home and schedules are changing, and we know Mbaku won’t get the time and attention he deserves. This is a difficult decision, and we’re not looking to simply give him away. We want to find the right home—someone who will love him, play with him and make him part of their family. If you think Mbaku could be a great fit for your home, please message me privately. ❤️🐾 Crate and food included.

MEET SAPPHIRE- currently in a foster home!Meet this sweet 2-year-old girl who weighs 101 pounds and is still full of that fun, puppy-like energy. She came to us as a stray, so we are still learning about her past and what life was like before she arrived at the shelter. What we do know is that she is a playful, social girl who truly enjoys spending time with people. She loves attention, enjoys playing with toys, and has a silly, youthful personality that makes her a lot of fun to be around. She may be a big girl, but she still has plenty of puppy left in her.She appears to be housebroken, although like any dog entering a new home, she will need time to adjust to a new routine and environment.Since she came in as a stray, we do not yet know how she does with other dogs, cats, or children. Those are things her future family will need to introduce carefully as they get to know her.She is looking for someone who will give her the time, patience, love, and guidance she deserves. Behind that kennel door is a big, goofy, playful girl who just wants the opportunity to become someone’s best friend. She has so much life and personality to give, and we hope the right person will take a chance on her and show her what it means to finally have a place to call home. Please email hsccfosterteam@gmail.com to be put in touch with her foster family!

Story
Ruby is a six year old American Pitbull Terrier/Cain Corso mix from a hoarding case where she endured physical abuse and many hungry nights. We suspect that Ruby was born and raised in that environment and has never received exposure to the outside world. Due to this, it takes Ruby some time to warm up to you.Once she does, she is an in your pocket type of pup! A wonderful sponsor is willing to cover my adoption cost of $225.00 so I can be adopted and enjoy being someone's best friend! All adopters must be vetted and approved to adopt from FOCCAS.Ruby has a way of making you feel wanted, when she greets you with a wagging nub and sweet face after a long day! She is very quiet and doesn't mind other dogs but would do best with a Male. She likes long walks and is doing well with leash training, and knows sit, down, touch and shake already! She does excellent when her foster mom bathes her and clips her nails, and is very patient. She is sweet and gentle until something scares her, then she jumps. She's good on a leash until something startles her, then she pulls.... And she's strong. She's a beautiful girl. Loving and gentle, loves attention but hates excitement. She's not a guard dog, she'll hide behind you in the threat of great danger, or if a butterfly scares her. Quiet, soft, and sweet Ruby, she wants to be right at your feet. Ruby needs to be an only dog.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee has been donated by an anonymous donor!!! Story
Big Daddy is a handsome 4-year-old Cane Corso with a big ol’ head, an even bigger heart, and enough personality to fill the whole house. Despite his impressive size, Big Daddy is really just a lovable guy who wants to be part of the family. He’s friendly with people, does well with other dogs, and absolutely LOVES kids. Because he’s a big, strong boy who may occasionally forget just how much real estate he takes up, older children would be the best fit. Big Daddy loves going for walks, hopping in the car for an adventure, hanging out with his canine friends, and playing with his toys. But don’t let his size fool you. This big guy is also perfectly happy parked on the couch beside his people, soaking up attention and enjoying the good life. Even better, Big Daddy is crate trained AND house trained, so he already has some pretty important household manners under his belt. He’s affectionate, social, goofy, and loyal. Big Daddy isn’t looking for anything complicated. He just wants a family who will include him in their lives, give him plenty of love, and preferably leave enough room for him on the couch. Big Daddy’s adoption fee is $400 and includes his neuter, vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip. Apply to adopt at www.fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.comI can also make this one a little funnier and really lean into his “giant baby/mini cow” personality.

Story
Currently fostered in: Brooklyn Park, MD 💙Meet Jackson!💙 Some dogs are content with minimal human interaction. Some dogs enjoy their personal space. Jackson? He has never heard of either of those things. This big, goofy teddy bear adores people, has personality for days, and has one of the sweetest hearts you'll ever meet! At 2.5 years old and about 70 pounds, Jackson firmly believes he is the perfect size to be your personal shadow, weighted blanket, emotional support buddy, and full-time best friend. He takes the title 'sidekick' very seriously. Privacy? Never met her. Getting up to grab a snack? He's coming with you (and wants one too) Going to run errands? He's by his leash ready to go! Need to use the bathroom? Well... Jackson believes that's a team activity too. This all means one thing: Once Jackson bonds with you- you've got the most loyal best friend for life. 💙ENERGY AND PERSONALITY💙 Jackson is everything people love about big dogs— equal parts sweetheart and goofball! He will make you laugh with his oversized puppy antics and his determination to convince you that he is lap-dog sized. He adores meeting new people, listens well, and has a happy-go-lucky outlook on life that makes everyone fall in love with him. Jackson also loves toys, bones, car rides, naps in his humans bed, and is 100% convinced that every snack in your hand was probably meant for him. (Honestly...he makes a really compelling argument.) Jackson has a medium/balanced energy level and is happy to lounge around OR go on an adventure. He doesn't care where you're going- he's just so grateful he gets to go with you! 💙SOCIAL LIFE💙 Jackson is known to quickly wins hearts whereever he goes. He gets along very well with other dogs, though his play style is best described as "VERY enthusiastic." He'd love a larger canine friend who enjoys roughhousing as much as he does or one who doesn't mind his goofy antics. He'd also be perfectly happy soaking up all of your attention as an only dog. 💙IDEAL HOME ENVIRONMENT💙 Like many rescue dogs, Jackson is still learning that being alone isn't so scary and that his humans will always be back for him. He would do best in a home where someone is home often, or where they can make arrangements for him to spend the day with someone while they are at work (i.e: doggie daycare, hanging out with a family member/friend/sitter, etc.) After spending so much of his life without a family of his own, Jackson's hoping for a home that understands he's still healing from his rough start, will be patient as he continues to build confidence, and won't mind having a devoted sidekick who thinks life is better together. Jackson has brought so much joy to his foster home, so we know he will bring a ton of joy to your home too! At the end of the day, Jackson is just a big sweet softie that has waited far too long for a furever family that shows him endless love and safety. Jackson has spent long enough wondering when it will finally be his turn. If you're looking for a dog who will love you with his whole entire heart every single day for the rest of his life... Jackson has been waiting his whole life for you. 💙INCLUDED VETERINARY CARE💙 Jackson is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and receiving heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives along with routine parasite treatments and yearly routine heartworm/lyme testing.

Story
Maggie is an incredibly smart, lively girl who is always ready for her next adventure. She loves people and thrives on human companionship. While she may take a few minutes to warm up to someone new, once she does, she’s all about snuggles, pets, and plenty of sweet kisses. This girl is eager to learn, making her a great candidate for continued training. She is already crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on a leash, giving her a strong foundation for success in her forever home. She is great with other dogs after a short introduction! Maggie loves to run, play, and stay active. Whether she’s zooming around the yard, exploring on walks, or engaging her brain with training and enrichment activities, she’s happiest when she has an outlet for her energy and intelligence. On the other hand, she also loves to lay at your feet and relax while you watch a movie with the family! Maggie could excel as a working dog, farm dog, or active companion for someone looking for a partner in adventure. After a few weeks, she could even settle into a typical 9-5 routine. She loves her crate and is extremely quiet, too, making her the ideal candidate for any type of abode! If you’re looking for a smart, fun, and loving dog to share life’s adventures with, Maggie may be the perfect match!
