Story
Hi everyone, meet our foster cat named Olivia Rodrigo! We call her Livy. 🐱 Livy is a brown tabby cat who can be a little spicy and doesn’t put up with anyone’s nonsense. We have been fostering her for the past three weeks. During that time she has warmed up a lot! She likes pets and head scratches now that she trusts us. She will need time to warm up to whatever household she ends up in. She would thrive in a house without young children that can’t understand boundaries. Livvy would be perfectly happy as the only pet in a household, but could likely live with a small number of respectful furry companions. She likes to do her own thing and will let you know when she wants attention. We want to find her the best home because she will be an amazing house cat once she settles in! 🥳

Story
Meet Minnie! Minnie is a petite bob-tail Manx girl with a sweet spirit and the softest little presence. She can be shy at first, especially around other cats and dogs, but once she has a quiet space and a trusted human, her true personality shines. Minnie loves people. Give her a little time to feel safe, and she becomes a cuddly, affectionate companion who’s happiest beside you. She’s also delightfully stretchy—you’ll catch her doing long, graceful stretches throughout the day, like a tiny yoga master showing off her best poses. Minnie would thrive in a calm home where she can be the center of someone’s attention. With patience and love, she’ll reward you with snuggles and all the adorable stretches you could ever want. Ready to give this sweet girl the peaceful, loving home she deserves? Minnie can’t wait to meet you.

Story
Meet Root Beer — the extra-large, extra-chill tuxedo kitty who’s basically a professional lounger. This big boy lives life in slow-mo, and honestly? He prefers it that way. Root Beer’s daily schedule includes: • 🍩 Morning nap • 💤 Mid-morning pre-lunch nap • 😴 Post-lunch power nap • 🛏️ And the grand finale: evening nap on the softest bed available When he’s not perfecting his napping technique, Root Beer is accepting gentle pets like the true royalty he believes he is. He’s laid back, unbothered, and convinced that every soft surface was placed on Earth just for him. If you’re looking for a furry companion who’s equal parts handsome, hilarious, and happily low-energy, Root Beer is your guy. Adopt him and enjoy life at a wonderfully relaxed pace — no fizz, all comfort. 🐾🖤🤍 Stop by to meet him during our open hours at the Cove Lifesaving Center or fill out a no obligation application by selecting "apply for adoption" : Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM Thursday – Saturday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Sunday: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
