Story
Bear Claw was born in the shelter on September 19th, the same day his mom arrived into our care.Since then he has been growing up alongside his siblings and mom in foster care. His foster mom said he is "snuggle bug, loves face rubs and to be talked to. He is a complete love. "Bear Claw is a polydactyl, so his adopters should pay special attention to his claws to be sure they're not growing or curling inwards towards the pad of his paws.Kittens need lots of attention and a safe environment to grow into great pets. Raising a kitten is a big commitment, but it's well worth it when you consider they'll be a part of your family for up to 20 years.Bear Claw will be getting neutered December 9th and should be ready to go home soon after that.If you're interested in adopting Bear Claw please fill out an application belowhttps://spca.bc.ca/survey/cat-adoption-application-shuswap/ Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 1.12 Age: 0yrs 0mths 11wks

Meet Zoey - A Resilient Little Queen Ready for Her Forever Home!Zoey's journey hasn't been an easy one. She was found as a starving stray, and had clearly been on her own for far too long. With gentle care and a refeeding program to help her safely regain her strength, this brave girl is now eating normally, feeling better, and officially ready to start the next chapter of her life, one filled with comfort, affection, and all the spoiling she deserves.Zoey is a classic tortie. Loving, affectionate, full of personality, and absolutely unafraid to let you know what she likes (and what she doesn't). She enjoys being close to her humans, and will thrive in a calm, loving environment where she can relax and continue putting on healthy weight.Zoey needs a home with no other cats. She prefers being the queen of her castle and isn't interested in sharing her humans or her space. She also must be kept indoors, outdoor life was hard on her.If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, and attitude, Zoey might just be your perfect match. Come meet this resilient girl and let her show you how special she is. If you think you could provide the right home for Zoey, please fill out an adoption application below:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Dilute Tortoiseshell Weight: 2.4 Age: 2yrs 1mths 1wks

Not good with kids, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Karen is a 2-year-old cat who knows exactly what she likes... and even more so, what she doesn't like. She's strong-willed, opinionated, and not afraid to let you know when something doesn't meet her high standards. Change? Not her thing. Other cats? Hard pass. Too much attention? Please... Karen will tell you when she's had enough. That said, Karen has a lot going for her: she's independent, entertaining, and full of personality. She's the kind of cat who will keep you laughing with her sass and keep you humble with her side-eye. While it's clear Karen does not like shelter life, her foster home said that once she's settled in at home, she is an affectionate, nice cat.Karen is looking for a home that will respect her boundaries and let her rule her kingdom in peace. No kids, no cats, no chaos - just a calm home where she can lounge in comfort and call the shots. If you think you could provide the right home for Karen, please fill out an adoption application below:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Tabby Weight: 5.27 Age: 2yrs 3mths 1wks
