Story
WATCH MY VIDEO...Meet Suzy, a sweet girl looking for a quiet place to call home. Suzy is a beautiful 1-year-old gray tiger kitty who came to us after her family found themselves with more cats than they could care for. She soon went into foster care, where she spent more than a month lovingly nursing and caring for her babies. Now that her kittens are grown, it’s Suzy’s turn to be the one getting all the love. Suzy is a friendly girl, but she is also extremely nervous and fearful. Even in the calm, peaceful environment of her foster home, she remained very reserved and timid. She simply needs time to feel safe and learn that she can relax. For Suzy, a quiet household with a patient family would be ideal. She may not be the kitty who immediately runs up to greet you, but with love, patience, and a little time, she may blossom into a wonderful companion. After spending so much of her life caring for her babies, Suzy deserves a chance to finally be cared for herself. If you have a peaceful home and a heart for the shy ones, Suzy may be waiting just for you. Give Suzy the safe, loving home where she can finally relax and let her sweet personality shine.

Story
WATCH MY VIDEO...Lolita is a beautiful 1-year-7-month-old brown tabby who is learning that the world can be a pretty wonderful place. When Lolita first arrived at the shelter, she was very shy and understandably unsure of her surroundings. Since we don’t know much about her past, we can’t say what made her so cautious. What we do know is that she needed time, patience, and a little understanding while she found her way, and slowly but surely, we’ve watched her blossom. Day by day, Lolita has become more comfortable, and we’re beginning to see more and more of the sweet personality hiding behind that initial shyness. She may not be the cat who runs up to greet everyone right away, but give her a little time and let her come to you, and you’ll discover just how special she can be. Lolita’s perfect family will understand that trust doesn’t always happen overnight. They’ll give her the patience and gentle encouragement she needs to feel safe, secure, and loved. In return, they’ll have the wonderful experience of watching a shy little cat come out of her shell and become the happy, confident companion she was always meant to be. Sometimes, the sweetest relationships are the ones that take a little time to grow.

Story
Orenji - A Little Patience, A Lot of LoveSome of the sweetest friendships take a little time to blossom, and five-year-old Orenji is a perfect example. This pretty orange girl can be shy when meeting new people, but give her a little patience and the chance to get comfortable, and you will find yourself with a lovely lap companion. Orenji isn`t one to rush into a relationship - she prefers to get to know you first. And there`s something especially rewarding about winning the trust of a gentle soul like hers.Once she`s feeling at home, Orenji had plenty of ways to enjoy her day. She loves batting at toy mice, chasing wand toys and laser lights, and watching the world go by from a favorite window perch. Sprinkle a little catnip on her cardboard scratcher, and you`ve got her attention! Orenji came to the shelter because her previous owner developed allergies, and now she`s hoping for a fresh start. She`d be happiest as the only cat in the household, where she can settle in at her own pace and enjoy having her special person all to herself. Could you be the one to give Orenji the time, love and home she deserves?

Story
WATCH MY VIDEO...Forget the big, green monster! Our Shrek is an adorable 2-year-old gray tabby kitty whose biggest wish is to find a loving family to call his own. We don`t know much about his past, but we do know that he`s been a little nervous in his new surroundings while still showing us just how sweet he can be. With a little patience, love, and a safe place to call home, Shrek may blossom into a wonderful companion. There`s one important thing you`ll need to know about this handsome boy. Shrek is FIV-positive, which means he`ll need to be the only cat in your home or share it with other FIV-positive cats. FIV cannot be transmitted to people or dogs, and it is primarily spread between cats through deep bite wounds. Many FIV-positive cats live long, happy lives with proper care and regular veterinary checkups. Shrek may not have a fairy-tale castle, but he doesn`t need one! All he really needs is someone willing to look past his diagnosis and see the sweet, deserving kitty underneath. Could you be the one to give this special boy his happily ever after?
