Lucy is an Angel and would be an amazing companion to a household with or without animals. She just wants to be snuggled all the time and loved! She is so kind, sweet, patient, doesn’t cry or wine, is so well behaved. She is truly a perfect cat and I wish I was not moving so I could keep her. You will fall in love with her funny personality!

Story
We call her Baby El or you can call her "El" but it is short for Eleanor. She loves to snuggle, play, eat, and sit in the sun. Baby El can be found playing with her favorite toy a little small, soft taco! She is so loving and gets along with anyone. She will always greet you when you get home and is a curious cat for small, dark spaces. She usually takes long naps during the day or will be hanging out with her Sister Lucy. She is adorable and will meow if she wants to talk to you! She is so easy and funny. She is extremely smart as well. She understands human moods and will be there to make you feel loved anytime anyday. She just wants to be loved back!

Story
I found Capone (grey cat) as a stray kitten on my birthday in 2014. He’s been amazing company and grown to be apart of my family. Although I am allergic to him. As I continued to work and travel, I felt bad for leaving him alone so often and got a second cat in 2016, Corleone (orange cat). The two have grown to love each other and I love them both, however I am moving and cannot take them with me. I also need to free myself of the health constrains of daily allergies . I would like to keep them together. Looking for someone to take them BOTH. They are house cats and have never been outside. I’d like to keep it that way for their safety. Please contact me if interested. I have 1 month to find them a loving home.

Story
Looking for an experienced and/or responsible loving owner for my grandmother’s cat, Mickey Mouse. My grandmother is passing away, which leaves Mickey without an owner. I am from NY and unfortunately cannot stay longer than a few days. I must return Thursday. I had no clue that Miami rescues are so overpopulated with cats. I’ve called about 40. :( Mickey is approx. 10 years old. We are not certain. She is neutered, has had consistent vaccinations until 2020, and we have an appointment scheduled Wednesday to get her up to date. She has nails, and is an indoor-outdoor cat, but has the potential to adjust to becoming an indoor cat. She stayed inside for a month when my grandma was unwell without any trouble. She seems to get along with the other cats in the area, and does not seem to scratch people for furniture. She also loves to be pet, and apparently, to sleep on our suitcases ☺️

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Birthdate: August 2018   Update: 2022 Dara is an adult now, who looks very much like her kitten pictures. So she is now a big girl and completely grown up. She’s quite shy, but loves people and will take some time to adjust. The best environment for Dara would be a calm quiet home. When Dara is comfortable, she loves to cuddle and get some really good back scratches and cheek love. She still loves her pole toys and human company, Dara currently shares space with two other cats, but what  Dara doesn’t have is a permanent home of her own, where she can share a bed with her human companions. If interested and sweet Dara, You will need to have patience and lots of love and you will get it in return tenfold. 2019 Dara is adorable, her favorite things to do are eating and playing. When she gets her toy, whether it is a small toy or pole toy she gets quite possessive and does not give it up easily. She has one broken pole toy with a rope material that is off. Dara grabs the stiff rope and runs in circles trying to catch the other end. Dara will be shy at first and maybe even hide, but once she is comfortable she loves to be loved and give love. She is good with other cats and gets along great with everyone. You can meet this wonderful kitty with an appointment as we don’t bring her on saturdays routinely. You can fill out an application for Dara at the Pembroke Pines Petsmart or go to www.adoptastray.ws/applications/ to fill out an application online or print and fax one to (954) 965-0406.
