Story
I'm looking for a home for my grandparents' cat. My grandmother recently passed away and my grandfather rapidly declined in her absence and can no longer take care of their cat. She is a sweetheart! She went from losing her parents, to moving into a new house with other cats and dogs, to then moving again when we bought a house and she is doing amazing! She'll need a full vet workup as I'm not sure of her health history. I'm also not sure of her age. I would say around 10, but she could be older. My grandfather can't quite remember.

Story
I am in tears as I write this. My sister needs to find a good, loving home for her two cats. She had an accident and unfortunately can no longer care for them. I live/travel in a motor home and have 2 cats so I cannot take them or I would! We will be back on the road soon so I need to find them a good home by mid-September 2026.Leo is an all black, eight-year-old who is bonded with his sister Phoebe. I would like to keep them together. Both are fixed and litter trained. They are strictly indoor cats and are not familiar with other animals. Leo is shy at first, but will come out of his shell and be a loving, sweet kitty. He loves to cuddle and look up into your eyes. He is really smart too. Phoebe is shy and will need some time to adjust and get to know and trust you, but once she does she is a real sweetheart. Phoebe has just been diagnosed with diabetes and is on Senvelgo once a day. Leo has a sensitive stomach and can only eat small portions.

Story
Daphne is about 4 months old and very bonded to Dodger in her foster home, and we would love for them to be adopted as a pair. They are not related but have become best friends. She is all crazy kitten - loves wrestling with Dodger, laser pointers, toys, cardboard boxes, and climbing cat trees. She has met older cats and is happy to make friends. She has been spayed, received rabies and FVRCP vaccines, is combo test negative, microchipped, and is current on flea and worm prevention. We love her beautiful coat color - black and silver bull's eye/marble/classic tabby! Cat Zip Alliance/Campus Cats adopts to indoor-only homes and requires the adopter have a carrier for safe transport. We do not have a set adoption fee, and instead ask adopters for an adoption fee of your choice. Contact us at feralcatcaregivers@yahoo.com to arrange a meet & greet!

Story
Protect your barn and outbuildings with natural pest control! We pull unsocialized adult cats and "teenagers" from area county animal services shelters weekly because they otherwise would be euthanized as unadoptable. Some may tame up with time and patience or actually be tame, but are too frightened at the shelter to show it. They will require about 2-4 weeks of confinement in a large pen or tack room so that they learn the sights and smells and sounds of their new home, and so they learn that they will be fed. We will deliver the cats to your property and provide a large dog pen, litter, litter box and food if needed. We require that the barn owner continue to provide daily food and fresh water once the cats are free - they will not stay and provide mousing services if they are not fed! They also will need 24-hour access to safe and dry barns or outbuildings for shelter. All cats looking for jobs as mousers will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper.

Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200. Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip). For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com. We are located at:1888 Colbert Danielsville Rd Danielsville, GA 30633 706-795-2868NOTE: Our adoptions are first come first served, simply filling out an application does not mean the animal will be held for you, you must come meet the animal in person in order to be considered for adoption. If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.
