Pounce is a Tortoise shell female (like the other 99% of Torties). Seems to get along with the dogs ok. She doesn't love them but seems to accept them. Born a farm/barn kitten, mom took her in the house when she was little & been house cat since. Loves scratches and butt rubs. Hates the other cats. I'm sure she'd prefer to be the only cat in the home. She (and they) have survived OK for the past year plus living together tho. Mom was no longer able to take care of the household, animals, and such so she has moved to a Long Term Care facility. I am unable to take Pounce as I'm already taking her Border Collie, one of the 4 cats; I already have an Australian Shepard, plus my daughter's cat is staying with us. And the house is about 800sq' Also, Pounce is just about the BEST mouser I've ever seen.

Pookie is a lover whose original owner could not afford her due to a surgical need. I have covered this expense and she is a newly amputated 3 legged cat. She is 9 weeks post op and getting along pretty well. She currently is a large 18 pound 2 year old who gets along with other animals but one of my other elderly cat picks on her.

I'm Cara the more adorable sister. I'm also do what I am supposed to most of the time. My sister thinks its ok to sneak out of the cat room, but for the most part I stay put. I do love to get pets and attention. I'm confused as to why we are still here at the shelter after nearly 5 years. I love to play and can act quite youthful. I do share the opinion of cats rule and dogs drool with my sister, so a home with no dogs is a must. We just want to leave the shelter and enjoy life in a home. We are two amazing girls!!
