Amia is 9 or 10. Perfect for a senior or a relaxed family with older children(a great first pet). She has to be an only cat. She gets along with large and medium dogs, but not cat sized dogs or other cats. She has FIV. She is an asymptomatic carrier: generally very healthy/active. No special care needed. I have been trying to rehome her for 7 yrs. She is perfectly behaved, sweet, and social. I never felt right giving her to a shelter despite knowing cats are not right for me bc she is such a great cat. My dog has lot of anxiety regarding Amia. He is getting to be a super senior, I can’t keep her with his increased medical expenses and the stress he has from an indoor cat so am feeling increased urgency to place. She always uses the litter box, she is the perfect amount of cuddly and independent so, not clingy, not very vocal, trained to stay off counters, does not claw furniture(this might need to be reinstilled in a new environment.) We adopted then "Catalytic Converter" now Hook last September from Petco. He was going be in an engine compartment, hence the name. He has a deformed right from paw from damage caused by engine compartment. He is a very laid back cat and just needs a good forever home.
