Story
This is our sweet Maya! I have had her since she was a kitten. She is the absolute sweetest and fluffiest (we have shaved her to help if she gets matted) and she was great until we got dogs. 🙁 She doesn’t attack them or anything but she has had behavioral problems since we brought them home. She still uses the liter box for when she has to poo but has unfortunately and continues to urinate by my back door and on my couch. The vet has checked her out and she was treated for recurring UTI’s and is on special urinary tract food. She’s a lover of people and her favorite is my 3 year old granddaughter 🥰 She is wonderful and cuddles up to my other cat but I think the dogs are just too much her. I want to find her a loving home that will care for her and love her as much as we do.

Story
Otis is a sweet 6-year-old boy in need of a fresh start. His owner recently passed away, and he's navigating a lot of change right now. He's on the shy side — he keeps to himself and we mostly see him at mealtimes — but with a patient adopter willing to give him space and time on his own terms, there's a wonderful companion waiting to emerge.Otis would do best in a quiet home with someone who understands that shy cats often become the most devoted companions once they trust you. No loud chaos, no pressure — just a calm corner, a reliable food bowl, and someone willing to let him set the pace. He'd likely thrive as the only pet, or with another easygoing cat.If you've been hoping for a low-key feline roommate and have the patience to let a shy cat blossom, Otis could be the one. He just needs someone to believe in him.He is shy enough that you would need to take him and let him warm up to you in his new location. I can take him to the vet and get him up to date on everything, if desired

Story
Hi, my name is Carl. I'm a shy, sweet boy who likes quiet. I'm afraid of rain/storms. Other cats usually bully me. If you can be patient and gentle, we'll learn to be great friends. My parents found Carl in their barn around 2019 and adopted him, but their other cats bullied him so much that he never came out from under a dresser. When I moved in next door with my other cat of about the same age, they gave him to me. My other cat bullies him, but not as badly. They managed to tolerate each other through several years & moves, until now. A new family (and cat?) moved into an adjoining apartment recently, and the stress between Carl and the other cat increased until Carl was too scared to use the litter boxes. He's been pooping outside the litter box for a few months now. It's gotten better on anti-anxiety meds, but he really needs a quiet loving house with no other cats and no neighbors through the walls. He's about 8 years old.

Story
Matcha is about 1.5 years old. I would prefer her to be adopted with her sister Boba (all black) but she would thrive in a home with any other cats given a proper introduction, but she does especially well with male cats. Matcha was apart of a litter who was found outside and “unofficially fostered” by me. Life moved quick and over a year later I am still needing to find her a home. She is a lover. She wants to snuggle - she doesn’t know a stranger. She is gentle with children of all ages and has a natural instinct to calm someone who is sad. She would be the best emotional support animal. Matcha LOVES water and is happiest drinking water from the sink or tub. Her main quirk is how much she loves bread, so it should be put away in a cabinet or she will try to eat it lol. She will try to sneak closer to you when you’re eating, but listens to redirection. Matcha is litter box trained, treat motivated for training, and tolerates baths and nail clippings. She adores being brushed!

Story
Meet Pete and Gary-the sweet middle aged (we think they’re around 6 or 7 yrs old) kitties who just want to be with each other and have a couple of quiet laps to relax on. They are best friends who need a quieter and calmer environment than our home is able to provide. Both are up to date on vaccines, in good health and have been pretty low maintenance - as long as their living space is quiet. We have 2 very active kids, so quiet is not a guarantee we can make for these guys. We have had to move them to their own “apartment” in our house in order to accommodate their preferences, but, now they seem very lonely. Their human interaction has been cut in half and it’s not fair to them. These guys have a safe home with us for their natural lives-we will not take them to a shelter. If there is someone who can give them the quiet home and the attention they crave, we would be sad to see them go but happy they would be more fulfilled.

Story
Ray is a great cat we are just realizing he is not great around young kids. He does not freak out or get super aggressive by any means he just not have the patients to deal with them. In addition to our 7 year old we have another baby on the way. Ray is about 11 years old and is a pretty chill guy most of the time not to say he doesn’t get his zoomys tho. He has lived with a dog but I think he would do better without one. He has also lived with an another cat and after the introduction they get along fine. We would love Ray to go to a nice caring home where he will get the attention he deserves and needs. The only special needs I would say he needs would be an in closed litter box.
