Story
Evie is a 1 year old petite girl, weighting around 5 lbs. Her dark brown tabby stripes and beautiful eyes make this girl quite the head turner. She came to our rescue after her caretaker had to move away and we didn't want her to be left behind alone! She had a terrible dental infection when she came to our care and had an extensive dental done, with quite a few teeth removed. She eats well now, mostly canned food with a bit of hard as a bonus. She has no problem with kibble type treats. In Evie's foster home she does wonderfully with other cats. She prefers to not be around dogs and prefers not to be picked up. She would prefer a little quieter home but will be a great addition to your family. If you are interested in meeting Evie, please fill out an application via our website at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRP/Cat and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. Story
Charlie is an extremely social and affectionate boy who was rescued from an outdoor colony in rural MO when his caretaker had to move away. He has never met a stranger and cannot wait to find a home where he can get all of the love and attention his little furry heart desires. Charlie came to us with a very bad dental situation and in the process of getting him healthy, he was found to have feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). FIV is not contagious to people or to dogs. It is transmitted to other cats through blood. Charlie gets along well with other cats and could go to a home with other FIV cats or to a home with other friendly cats. He'd also love to be an only child because he loves to love. Cats with FIV live long and healthy lives and Charlie had an extensive dental once in our care. He's feeling so much better now! If you're looking for a cuddly and affectionate boy, apply today to meet Charlie! If you are interested in meeting Charlie, please fill out an application via our website at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRP/Cat and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us at adoptionstrp@gmail.com. This will get you the fastest response. Charlie's adoption fee is $75 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, neuter, microchip, and testing for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus.
