Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Rizzo and Gonzo are mama and daughter kitties who will live their best lives together. Rizzo is a sweet mama kitty who has been working hard to take care of her babies. She’s been a bit defensive of them around other cats, so if she goes to a home with other cats a slow introduction will be necessary. She’s playful and snuggly, but takes a little time to warm up to people at first. She LOVES getting pets, and will climb up on her foster mama's lap for more.  Gonzo is a shy kitty. She’s still working on her social skills and developing trust with people, so she needs an adopter who understands her needs and will help her to become more comfortable and confident. She likes to climb up to look out the window to watch the birds and squirrels, and she loves a cozy spot to snuggle up with her mom Rizzo for a good nap.  These kitties should get along with kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs given proper introductions. Rizzo was born approximately October 15, 2022, and August 12, 2025, respectively. Their combined adoption fee is $222.50. They are spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, have microchips, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com.  Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization.  December 12, 2025, 9:31 pm

Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Meatloaf is shy. He accepts being pulled out and held without a fight, but often hides his head and will run and hide if he gets a chance. Loud noises scare him. He comes out to eat and to play with other kittens; he’s learning to trust people.  He is going to grow into a beautiful cat.  His best friend (possibly brother) is Scotty, who also has a shy personality. Meatloaf and Scotty were strays brought to a shelter the same day. We don’t know what happened to them before, but their foster mom is hoping some patient, kind person will adopt one (or both) and allow time for a timid kitten to grow into a secure cat. Being timid, dogs and small children will take some time for these kittens to get used to. Meatloaf was born approximately July 17, 2025, and his adoption fee is $160, or adopt two and the second is half off. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this sweet boy at our adoption center this weekend!  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. MEET THE TWINS: Milo and Ollie are deeply bonded brothers looking for their furever home together. These two babies were dumped into the streets with their Mama. Thankfully, their Mama (Mama Sylvie – soon to be up for adoption) knew how to keep them safe and alive until they were rescued.   Ollie and Milo are incredibly sweet, gentle kitties who truly love affection. They enjoy pets, Churros, and playing with wand toys and with each other. Ollie is the braver of the two, with Milo happily following his lead. They may be a little shy at first, but with a bit of patience and kindness they warm up quickly, especially when a squeeze treat is offered (see the video). Once you start petting them, their purring motors turn on instantly, and they’re more than happy to soak up all the love. They will make a wonderful addition to a loving home and loving companions for years to come. These boys do very well around other cats and can be adopted together as only kitties or into a home with 1 or 2 other well-behaved kitties as long as proper introductions are made. These babies have not been around dogs or children; however, can likely go into a home with well-behaved dogs and children (8 years and older) with proper introductions. Milo and Ollie were born approximately September 1, 2025, and their combined adoption fee is $250. They are neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, are microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Honey was dumped in a field out in the country to fend for herself. Luckily, the owners of the property saw her, went to check out the situation and she followed them home. They cared for her until she came to Kitty City. Honey is a very affectionate and human-loving kitty. Don’t let that stern little face in her picture fool you.  She is a lover and is rapidly turning into an official lap cat, sleeping on her foster Mom’s chest and purring up a storm during their little cat naps. She will likely want to sleep with you once she is fully acclimated to your home. Honey will make a great little companion, keeping you company and talking Tortie to you periodically throughout the day. Honey is a very respectful and well-behaved kitty but still likes to play with her toys and to have her human play with her with a wand toy.  When Honey was first introduced to new cats, she wasn’t crazy about the idea. After proper introductions, she has done fine, as long as the other kitties are not bullies or alpha cats. Therefore, she will likely do best in a quiet mature home by herself or with one other sweet kitty who doesn’t have a problem sharing their human or their home. Honey should be adopted to a home with NO DOGS and NO YOUNG CHILDREN.  Honey was born approximately December 1, 2023, and her adoption fee is $105. She is altered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations and flea and parasite treatments and tested negative for both feline leukemia virus (FeLeuk) and FIV.  She has been to the veterinary and been given a PUUURFECT clean bill of health. Now she just needs her PUURRFECT home! You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Bert and Stanley were relinquished by their owner and are looking for a furever home together. Bert is a beautiful orange tabby boy with a gentle, affectionate nature. He can be a little shy at times, but he truly loves people. Even if he's off doing his own thing, he’s quick to come out and say hello when you call out sweetly to him. When he's in the mood for it, Bert will actually beg to be picked up. He’ll reach up to paw at your legs when he’s in the mood for extra affection and loves to smush his face against the face of whoever is holding him. Bert is declawed in his front paws, but he has done very well in his foster home and has no trouble using the litter box. He’s a very loving, people-oriented cat who loves giving and receiving affection. Stanley is a handsome black cat with plenty to say and a charming habit of greeting people with cheerful meows. He loves “talking” with his humans and can often be found relaxing next to a window so he can enjoy the view. Stanley would be a wonderful companion for someone who works from home or spends time at a desk, as he enjoys hanging out nearby and keeping you company. He can also be found relaxing on the couch with people in the evenings. These kitties should get along with kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs given proper introductions.  Bert and Stanley were born approximately May 9, 2023, and December 12, 2018, respectively. Their combined adoption fee is $182.50. They are neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, are microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. He will wake you up giving you a nose rub and purring and then snuggle next to you while doing biscuits on your face.  Malu is mostly white with black around his eye and a white diamond on his forehead. He will also give you a nose kiss then snuggle on you. He loves to take straws and play with them. These kitties will want to play with each other and with their people, so be ready for some entertainment.
