Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Onyx (black) and Mickey (tortie) are two gentle and affectionate little sweeties looking for their puurfect human(s) to love on. Onyx is a little shy at first but once she gets to know you and knows she can trust you, she will be your best little buddy. Onyx will let you pick her up for short periods of time and is learning to like it more and more. Mickey is a bit more outgoing and likely won’t be too shy for too long. She is fine with being picked up. These girls like to be brushed and get pets and as they get to know you will be giving headbutts and kisses. They also like to sit next to you and get stroked and tummy rubs. Both girls are pretty laid back, but still like to play with their toys (small stuffed mice and balls) and each other and also enjoy for you to play with them with the wand toy. They spend most of their day lounging and hanging out watching what all is going on and will join you if they think you need some help. These girls were rescued from a very bad situation where they were neglected and not taken care of. They are learning what it is like to be cared for and loved. Both girls have come a long way at their foster mom’s home and will continue to do so in a patient and loving home. These girls have been through a great deal together and have developed a deep bond. They sleep together, they play together and sit in their foster Mom’s lap together. During lap time their motors roar with contentment all the while headbutting and rubbing on each other and foster Mom. It is time for them to find their FOREVER loving home together with someone who will give them the love and time they need to blossom into their beautiful little selves. Onyx and Mickey will do best in a mature home or one with older, cat-savvy children (10+). They would like to be the only kitties in the home but have been around other kitties and have shown no aggression so would likely get along with other calm cat-friendly kitties with proper introductions. They have not been around dogs so they would have to go to a home with a very calm cat-friendly dog and given very slow and  proper introductions. Onyx and Mickey were born approximately August 17, 2021, and February 14, 2010, respectively. Their combined adoption fee is $167.50. They are spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, have microchips, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com.  Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization.  June 16, 2026, 3:50 pm

Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Nala is a super sweet and beautiful gray cat who loves people and wants to be close to her humans. She’s very affectionate, enjoys being petted, and is the kind of cat who will happily hang out with you on the couch or in bed. She is shy at first and will hide when meeting someone new, but after she has time to watch and get used to you, she warms up quickly and starts coming out for attention. Wet food is a great way to win her over faster, and once she trusts you she’ll greet you with sweet little meows and ask for pets. Nala would do best as the only pet in the home since she much prefers the company of people over other cats and dogs, and she’s looking for a calm place where she can be someone’s close companion. Nala needs a cat-savvy home - women only. She needs a cat tree so she can look out the window. She is available by appointment only. With an approved application - we will arrange a time to introduce Nala to you and your home.  This kitty should get along with kids given proper introductions. Nala was born approximately February 1, 2015, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Meet Cleopatra! If you’re looking for a companion kitty, Cleo could be the cat for you! She’s a beautiful gray tortoiseshell girl, who loves to play and be brushed and likes to be near her human, especially at nap time, when she will want to be close to you.She has a bit of “tortitude,” which tortoiseshell cats are known for. Sometimes she needs to be gently reined in if she gets too wound up during playtime! Sudden movements or sounds sometimes scare her.Cleopatra will be okay with cat-friendly dogs and other cats, once they’ve been given a proper introductory process. Her foster home has 4 cats and a dog, and she has become comfortable enough to hang out during the day.Cleo will need a few weeks to adjust to her new home, because she has had several changes in her life and she’s anxious about new people and places. But once she knows she’s loved and safe, she will be a wonderful companion kitty. If you’re willing to give Cleo some love, patience and a forever home, let us know! Cleopatra was born approximately June 23, 2017, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt 2, and the 2nd is half off. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and worming, tested negative for feline leukemia and is microchipped. Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Crissy is a loverly gray and white older female that craves and needs attention. She loves to greet you and talk to you in the morning. In fact, she loves it so much, she gets over stimulated at times and will give “love nips” and occasionally swat at your feet along with a hiss. She has a favorite red rug to sleep on, mainly on the floor. Although she has access to scratching posts and cat trees, she does not appear to climb much on furniture. It is unknown how she would be with other cats and dogs, but with a proper introduction, she could possibly be with another older, quieter cat. Her best environment would be in a home with cat savvy adults. Crissy was born approximately March 24, 2016, and her adoption fee is $105.
Aston and Martina are brother/sister siblings who want to stay together in their new home. They had a rough start to life and are now ready for their best lives ever. Aston was rescued after he fell in between walls in an abandoned house. His loud screams for help saved him! He was a tiny all grey beautiful boy, weighing barely 1 pound. He has grown into an affectionate kitten with a great appetite (he still only likes canned food). Aston loves to snuggle with humans as well as with his friend, a big dog! He can entertain himself with all kinds of “toys” he finds on his excursions through the house. It’s recommended to have several litterboxes throughout the house. He really listens when you call his name and appears fast from one of his favorite places. Aston is just a happy fellow and will give you little live bites, too, which should be discouraged. Two weeks after Aston was rescued, his sister Martina was also rescued. She is a beautiful little girl with a coat that feels like a mink. She adjusted quickly to a comfortable life in a real home. She is still a bit shy, but really appreciates having plenty of good meals and room to run around and chase Aston. We have learned to “shuffle” around in the house instead of walking as the kittens are very sneaky and will dance around your feet and legs. This brother and sister are happy to be reunited and they have bonded again. They want to be adopted together and are looking for a loving family to call their own. These kitties should get along with kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs given proper introductions.   Aston and Martina will be waiting for you…. Aston and Martina were born approximately March 15, 2026. Their combined adoption fee is $250, which includes $20 each for microchips. They are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Are you looking for gentle, loving, and fun companions? Meet Holly and Little Fluffy, two sweet, lovely sisters who have grown up together, love each other lots, and need to go to a home together. Their world was recently turned upside down when their beloved cat Dad passed away. It’s obvious that they were well loved and cared for! They are gentle souls and are healthy, calm, friendly, and loving.  And did I mention beautiful as well?Holly flops and purrs when she sees her foster Mom, plus rubs on her. You can’t give her too many pets! Pet, pet, pet, purr, purr purr! She is very confident. She loves to lift one paw when being petted and delights in moving her water dish! Little Fluffy was the lap cat in her home, and would also sleep with her person. She is a bit more reserved at first, and just needs calm, loving time with her new people. Once she feels safe, she is a lovable lap cat doll baby! They both sit on a lap, and enjoy playing with their favorite lobster wand, and laser toy.Holly and Little Fluffy can be seen by appointment only, as they get stressed being in the condos and seeing the other cats at the adoption center. They grew up with a child so should do well with children given a proper introduction. They have not been around dogs, so that is an unknown, but should do ok if the dog is calm, with a slow introduction. They need to be the only cats in the home. Come meet these sweet girls at our adoption center! They miss their home and are eager to find their furever people. Holly and Little Fluffy were born approximately October 8, 2019, and their combined adoption fee is $167.50. They are spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on shots and deworming, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above.
