Story
This is our sweet Maya! I have had her since she was a kitten. She is the absolute sweetest and fluffiest (we have shaved her to help if she gets matted) and she was great until we got dogs. 🙁 She doesn’t attack them or anything but she has had behavioral problems since we brought them home. She still uses the liter box for when she has to poo but has unfortunately and continues to urinate by my back door and on my couch. The vet has checked her out and she was treated for recurring UTI’s and is on special urinary tract food. She’s a lover of people and her favorite is my 3 year old granddaughter 🥰 She is wonderful and cuddles up to my other cat but I think the dogs are just too much her. I want to find her a loving home that will care for her and love her as much as we do.

Story
Otis is a sweet 6-year-old boy in need of a fresh start. His owner recently passed away, and he's navigating a lot of change right now. He's on the shy side — he keeps to himself and we mostly see him at mealtimes — but with a patient adopter willing to give him space and time on his own terms, there's a wonderful companion waiting to emerge.Otis would do best in a quiet home with someone who understands that shy cats often become the most devoted companions once they trust you. No loud chaos, no pressure — just a calm corner, a reliable food bowl, and someone willing to let him set the pace. He'd likely thrive as the only pet, or with another easygoing cat.If you've been hoping for a low-key feline roommate and have the patience to let a shy cat blossom, Otis could be the one. He just needs someone to believe in him.He is shy enough that you would need to take him and let him warm up to you in his new location. I can take him to the vet and get him up to date on everything, if desired

Story
After 3 years of trying to help her adjust, we've come to the heartbreaking realization that our home just isn’t the right fit for Tinkerbell (Tink for short). She’s a sweet, vocal 3 year old spayed tuxedo cat who needs a quiet, pet-free home to truly thrive. Tink is overwhelmed by the noise, other animals, and general bustle of a busy household with kids. She enjoys her independence—spending time curled up in her window canopy (which she will come with) or tucked away in a quiet spot—but she also loves pets and attention when she’s in the mood. She’ll let you know when she wants affection (she’s quite the talker!). I love her dearly and this decision hasn’t been easy, but we believe the kindest thing we can do is find her a home where she feels safe, relaxed, and loved—on her own terms. 💫 Ideal Home: No other pets No small children Calm, quiet environment Someone patient who respects her space but is there when she’s ready for love

Story
Garfield was adopted by Katrina, who has special needs, as a kitten. A neighbor’s cat had kittens and Katrina just showed up with this cutie (without permission) but we all fell in love with him. He loves roaming the outdoors or cuddling indoors near a window so he can watch the birds. Unfortunately, we have been forced to move due to our daughter’s special needs and cannot take him to the new home. We would love to find a loving home for Garfield where he can continue to enjoy the outdoors & cuddle time with people.

Story
Suki came to us as a kitten from a farm. She started out as a strictly indoor cat but over the years she has become curious and will venture outdoors, although she never goes very far. She has grown up around other dogs, cats & children but seems to prefer a calmer environment. She may not tolerate very active children or dogs. She’s not aggressive at all but rather gets scared and hides. She mostly enjoys lounging around the house, begging for more treats and bird watching by the window! She loves it when people pet her and does this weird thing where she sticks her butt up in the air and walks away while you’re petting her. Then she’ll look back at you expecting you to follow her and continue petting her!

Story
Hi, my name is Carl. I'm a shy, sweet boy who likes quiet. I'm afraid of rain/storms. Other cats usually bully me. If you can be patient and gentle, we'll learn to be great friends. My parents found Carl in their barn around 2019 and adopted him, but their other cats bullied him so much that he never came out from under a dresser. When I moved in next door with my other cat of about the same age, they gave him to me. My other cat bullies him, but not as badly. They managed to tolerate each other through several years & moves, until now. A new family (and cat?) moved into an adjoining apartment recently, and the stress between Carl and the other cat increased until Carl was too scared to use the litter boxes. He's been pooping outside the litter box for a few months now. It's gotten better on anti-anxiety meds, but he really needs a quiet loving house with no other cats and no neighbors through the walls. He's about 8 years old.
