Meet our beautiful grey tabby on white female cat, rescued from the Menards in KC KS. This mama cat, who was semi-feral, was trapped along with her kittens, but couldn't be TNR'd due to her location. A Diva Pets Cat rescue foster took her in and has been working diligently on taming her. Through patience and love, she has come to trust humans and enjoys being petted and brushed. She still likes to spend time outdoors but comes inside at night for safety. She gets along well with dogs and other cats and loves to play. We are seeking a primarily indoor home for her, as she is fearless around dogs and could be at risk with aggressive strays. She is a true success story, and we are excited to find her a loving forever home. Beautiful Leah is the perfect addition to a quiet home. She bonded with the senior citizen in her original home but couldn't adjust when that person passed away. Leah attached to her foster mom within a week! Leah is looking for her next senior citizen's lap to curl up into. She likes to view the world from up high so you can often find her on the very top of her cat tree. She's a fan of napping in a cozy box, although if a human allows her to share a bed, she's quite happy to curl up for cuddles. She's not a fan of being picked up - ever - but if you tap wherever you'd like her to go (on a table, the couch next to you, etc), she gets the drift and hops right up. She loves attention and is a gentle and loving companion.She likes her fish pate (no chicken please), but if you're more than an hour late serving up chow, that's when you will hear her forcefully remind you of the time. You can atone for your tardiness after dinner by treating her to a good brushing. She loves the foster kittens after a warm up period but she is selective with the adult cats that she likes.She ignores the little Chihuahua (who likes cats) in her foster home, and avoids the large dogs.Even though she's not technically a kitten, you would think she was if you provide her favorite toys (furry mice or balls). She is a sweet girl who can bring calm companionship and a little bit of spunky amusement to your home. Sweet Leah is looking for a special human to love her.
