Story
Ember was found outside my apartment complex when I lived in Nashville. He was immediately loving and comfortable with people, clearly not wanting to be outside anymore. Medical issues were immediately apparent, and after many tests it has been confirmed that Ember has liver shunts. Liver shunts means part of the blood bypasses the liver entirely. Because Ember has been this way since birth, it has been advised to not pursue surgery. He is on 4 different medications, some administered multiple times per day, and will continue with this regiment for the rest of his life. He is genuinely the smartest, kindest and most snuggly cat I know, it is heartbreaking to have to separate from him. Not a single behavioral issue the entire time I have cared for him, only love and snuggles. Unfortunately, I do not have the bandwidth to sustainably keep up this medication routine, specifically when traveling would require someone staying at my place to administer medication 4 times per day.

Story
Bird is a 4-year-old female gray tabby. She has been a wonderful companion but since having her there has been an issue of urinating on our belongings every few months. She has chosen our clothes, things that smell like us and even our bed to urinate on outside of her litter box for no reason other than it may smell like other animals or she is stressed due to outside noise. She is an extremely nervous cat and is not thriving in our living situation of shared apartment space. Too much noise from neighbors, either in their own apartments or from the hallway, causes extreme stress and can even make her feel as though she needs to hide. If we have company over, she will hide for hours on end before finally deciding there is no threat. We have ruled out every other reason, including urinary tract issues and litter types/litter box fullness. She is not up to date on shots simply because she does not wish to venture outside and she is not near our shoes that may track something in.

Story
Kevin is a 6 year old brown tabby cat who's looking for a new home with caring pet owner(s). Kevin can be shy at first but once he's comfortable with his surroundings, he becomes a sweet and loving cat! We raised him from when he was a kitten to now but we're moving soon and unfortunately unable to take him with us. We will provide a PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder, water fountain, a large aluminum cat litter, and pet carrier. All shots history can be provided by the Cat Clinic of Johnson County where we take him for his vet appointments.

Story
I adopted Tom and Jerry as kittens. They are 3 year old brothers and are very bonded. They are the best cats I could ever ask for. They are friendly, social, lovable, playful and love to cuddle. They play with toys and love to wrestle with each other. Due to my major health issues I have to sell my house and I can not take them with me. It breaks my heart as they are my babies. They do have their claws, but must be inside cats!! Tom does take medication for a newly diagnosed pancreas illness which he takes willingly mixed in with wet food and responding nicely to it. As the vet said "it is easily managed". I will be getting them up to date on shots and tests. They are as wonderful as they are beautiful. And yes they don't mind being called beautiful. lol Any questions, please reach out. Becky

Story
Meet our beautiful grey tabby on white female cat, rescued from the Menards in KC KS. This mama cat, who was semi-feral, was trapped along with her kittens, but couldn't be TNR'd due to her location. A Diva Pets Cat rescue foster took her in and has been working diligently on taming her. Through patience and love, she has come to trust humans and enjoys being petted and brushed. She still likes to spend time outdoors but comes inside at night for safety. She gets along well with dogs and other cats and loves to play. We are seeking a primarily indoor home for her, as she is fearless around dogs and could be at risk with aggressive strays. She is a true success story, and we are excited to find her a loving forever home. If you are interested in adopting this once-feral beauty, please apply to bring her into your family. If you're interested in this cat or kitten, please fill out an application rather than send an inquiry. Applicants are processed first come first served and some kittens go fast. You are not obligated to adopt by submitting an application and due to volume, we are not always able to respond to inquiries in a timely manner. All Diva Pets Rescue cats have been fostered in homes by our volunteers. An application is required prior to meeting our cats in order to help ensure a good fit between adopter and adoptee. You can complete the adoption application at www.divapetsrescue.org. One of our volunteers will get back to you within 48 hours. Please contact us for more information at DivaPetsCatRescue@gmail.com. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, flea-treated, microchipped, and have had all age appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fees are $125 for cats over 1 year old or $200 for 2 adults. Kittens under 1 year old are $150 or 2 kittens for $225. The fee for 1 adult and 1 kitten adopted together is $200.

Story
Pixie, the classic brown tabby with a hint of Bengal sass, is not your typical feline. This feisty girl left her mark on her previous foster with her biting antics, but don't let that deter you. She's a force to be reckoned with and demands a certain level of respect. Pixie has a rebellious streak and a disdain for white cats, but don't worry, she's got a soft spot for anyone who can keep up with her need for constant play and adventure. With a penchant for hunting and guarding, Pixie is on the lookout for a home that will appreciate her unique skills. If you're willing to give her the space and freedom she craves, Pixie will reward you with her fierce loyalty and endless entertainment. A true diva in every sense, Pixie is ready to take on the world, one mouse at a time. We do not condone indoor/outdoor cats, but Pixie is a purrfect candidate for indoor/outdoor life. Being allowed outdoor time has completely changed her attitude. She does not stray far and loves the run around time. She no longer bites the humans and is way easier to handle!!!! She loves to play the game of let me in and let me out. She does like to be brushed and petted but you must be quick about it!! Her foster mom thinks she is one of the most hilarious creatures she has ever met!!If you're interested in this cat or kitten, please fill out an application rather than send an inquiry.
