Story
Luna is a super sweet 10 year old main coon mix. She is loving and just wants a quiet place to relax, curl up with her person, and sleep. Luna was adopted as a kitten and has been a wonderful cat. Unfortunately, a few years ago she was attacked by another cat (no injuries) and this has left her incredibly scared of other cats. Luna would thrive in an environment with no other animals and no small children. My home just does not fit her needs anymore and she has been overly stressed due to the other animals and children. It is not fair to keep her locked away in an isolated room, so we have made the difficult decision to re-home her.

Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
When we picked up Atalanta, we thought she was about four months old. It turned out she was a little older than we thought. She is still very small. She is long and lean but by no means underweight. She is just going to stay small. Atalanta got her name because she was brave enough to walk up to her feeder and let him put her in a carrier. Atalanta has transitioned to living inside quite well. She gets along well with the other cats and has good manners. She is a favorite at the vet and in foster. Her pictures don't do her justice. She is so colorful that she really doesn't fit into one category. She is just beautiful! She is negative on her combo test, UTD, Chipped and Spayed

Story
Jack showed up in early November of 2025. We already had an out cat. The other one didn't mind Jack, and Jack liked the regular food, so even after we trapped him and got him neutered, he decided to stay. The other cat was adopted, and Jack still decided to stay. Jack stays around the house, but every morning he is on the porch waiting for the day he can come in. Unfortunately for Jack, the inn is full. It didn't take Jack very long to come to us for pets. He is very friendly, allowing pets, brushing, and will sit still long enough for me to apply topical flea, tick, and heartworm medicine. We never expected Jack to stick around after he was neutered. Unfortunately, we have had a full house, so we have not been able to bring him in. We have not seen him spray, and he has not had a chance to use a litter box since he has been at Wild Serenity. Though we think he will be fine, we cannot guarantee he is house-trained. Jack would do best with someone who is cat savvy and doesn't have small children. He will need time to adjust to home life. We are confident that with the right person, Jack will thrive and be more than happy being an incat. Because we thought Jack would be a TNRV, he only has his Rabies shot, Negative combo test, and Neuter. He is not chipped and has not had any other vaccines. We recommend adopters get Jack chipped and complete Vaccinations. Wild Serenity will pay for vaccinations.

Domestic Shorthair

Female, 2 yrs 3 mos
Grifton, NC
Size

Details
Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Ayla came to us with three weeks to go before she had her kittens. She trusted us right away and loved being held and petted. Ayla had a litter of 4 kittens and was a very good mother. That was over a year ago. She is so ready to find her furever home where she can be someone's only baby. Ayla is very small at just 7 lbs. She is the smallest adult at Wild Serenity. Ayla would do best as an only or adopted with one of her offspring. Ayla is very people friendly, but she is not nice to other cats. She would be fine with children who know how to be nice to cats, or with a single or a couple. You should see her liquid copper eyes for yourself. She is beautiful! Ayla is Negative on combo test, UTD, Chipped and Spayed.

Good with kids, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Honey was rescued by a good Samaritan who found her dumped in a box at Dollar General in Grifton, NC. Honey's rescuer contacted Wild Serenity Cat Rescue Fund right away, and we jumped into action. We sent her to the vet right away and got her checked out. They aged her at 6weeks old. While staying with her rescuer, Honey played well with two small children and was exposed to cats of varying ages. Honey was estimated to be born on 04/19/26. She is doing well with the other cats at Wild Serenity, but if you want a kitten, get her soon.

Story
Ian Fleming was born at Wild Serenity along with 3 other littermates. He is loving and easy. He gets along well with everyone. He has even been adopted by a segregate auntie cat. Ian Fleming is stunning in his unbuttoned tux. His fur is so soft that he can slip through your hands like Jello. At just over a year old, he still plays like a kitten. Ian Fleming is Negative on combo test, UTD, Chipped, and Neutered.
