Sadie is declawed, and does not scratch furniture. She is very sociable and affectionate. She is a cuddly lap cat that purrs loudly when she is petted. Sadie follows me from room to room, and I'm tickled when she watches me wash dishes, fold laundry and put away groceries. She loves to inspect the grocery bags (I think because she wishes there were treats in every bag). Overall she has a calm demeanor, but at bedtime she is playful. If the adults in your household work full time, she enjoys her alone time while you are at work. She does not get anxious when she is alone. I think she would tolerate other cats, dogs well. She chooses to sleep at night, when most cats run through the house creating loud rackets. If you value a good night's sleep, she will leave you alone.

Meet Helena! After slipping her way into a stranger's house, this pretty lady simply refused to leave! After deciding she is an indoor cat, Helena came to WCHS so we can find her a home of her own! Helena is a little scared in her new enviornment still but given some slow blinks & tube treats, Helena is ready to start her best domestic life!   Kids: Helena has never met any kids before but due to her reserved nature we recommend kids 10+ who understand how to respect her boundaries. Cats: Helena hasn't met any other cats before. We always advise supervised and patience during introductions, following a proper acclimation period. Dogs: Helena hasn't met any dogs so far. We always advise supervised and patience during introductions, following a proper acclimation period.   Helena is spayed, microchipped, and fully up-to-date on vaccines & preventions.
