Story
Muskrat is a very timid personality that can get a lot of anxiety when meeting a lot of people. However, she is super sweet and cuddly once you get to know her. She loves to eat (so much so this little lady gets hangry!) So she needs set feeding times if there are other pets in the household as she will hog the food. She is about 4 years old now, but still has a long healthy life in front of her! She loves flopping onto her side in front of you when she wants attention. She was originally a stray I picked up with her sibling. She has gone through 4 different moves. I would love to take her with me, but I am driving all the way down to Florida for this next move and I don't think she would handle the move very well. She likes older kids (ones that can respect her space), and has had experience with dogs and other cats. However, she does best by herself or with a single other cat. (She tends to be a bully)

Story
Meet Caesar! He;s a polydactyl, so he;s got an extra thumb toe on his front feet. I had been feeding him outside of my work since 2020. On Christmas Eve 2024, he showed up with a rectal prolapse. I took him to my vet and they did surgery to fix the prolapse, I had him neutered and bloodwork done. He is Feline Leukemia FeLV negative, but did test positive for Feline Immunodeficiency virus/FIV. FIV typically causes a weakening of the cat;s immune system. FIV positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration, they just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. I have had him fully vaccinated and he;s been on monthly Revolution Plus flea medicine since December. It is recommended that FIV cats be an inside only cat, or in a home with other other FIV cats. I have other cats in my home, so I cannot take him in. He;s been in my garage since January. Looking for a home or rescue that will take him with his FIV diagnosis.

Story
Momma is a stray cat that our next door neighbors have abandoned, along with her kittens. We were able to take in her two kittens (with their permission of course), however we are not able to take in momma since we already have 4 cats in our house! Momma is a very friendly cat once you get to know her (she was a little shy at first). She is not fixed but we have been treating her for fleas and worms. We are also willing to help pay for any vet bills to get her spayed (since i know that can be off putting to some people). We have tried to contact every humane society in our state to take her in and everyone is full. Winter is coming up soon and we really want Momma to have a warm place to stay. We would love for her to go to a good loving forever home. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out.

Story
Meet Lyney! Lyney is the more extroverted between him and his sister, Lynette, but not by much. He will be the first to investigate the scene but rest assured Lynette will be the first to vocalize her thoughts. Lyney spends his time basking in the sun and staring longly at passerbyers - don't let his sweet eyes trick you! He yearns to have some cat treats and will slowly blink in your direction. Kids: We're not sure how Lyney is with children. Cautious and supervised introductions are advised. Dogs: Lyney gets along well with small dogs. Cautious and supervised introductions are advised. Cats: Though he came in with his sister, we still advise slow and catious introductions with other feline friends.  Lyney's Favorite Things: Warm cozy beds, Soft blankets, Mice toys, Yummy Wet Food and treats, Sleeping on the highest perch, Playing I-spy with his sister Lynette Lyney is Neutered, Microchipped, and Up to date on age appropriated vaccines! Meet Lynette! When she's not performing a spectacle magic show with her brother, Lyney, you can see her enjoying her time by taking a nap in the cozeist corner. It may take a bit for sweet Lynette to warm up to new company, but with her brother by her side, she can accomplish anything!  Cats: Though she came in with her brother, we still advise slow and catious introductions with other feline friends.  Dogs: Lynette gets along well with small dogs. Cautious and Supervised introductions are advised. Kids: We are not sure how Lynette would do with kids. Cautious and supervised introductions advised.
