Patches was a rescue. I took her from an abusive situation. She was thrown, kicked and hit. I worked with her for 6 months. She was finally able to come out of her room to join the rest of the house full of animals, which includes 2 dogs and 6 other cats. She does well with all of them. She does not do well with my husband. She doesn’t attack him. She just doesn’t want him touching her. She does give warnings when she doesn’t want to be touched…She will put her paw up and push your hand down. She does not like men to touch her. Her abuser was a male. She would be best in a home with older children. She is a wonderful cat!

Loki was a stray kitten that I gave a home to, I’ve had him since 2018. He has no known health issues, and no issues using the litter box. He plays a little rough with other cats and is very playful in general, but is fine other wise. He hides when strangers come over, but warms up after a few visits. We had a baby almost a year ago, and Loki is not doing well with the baby at all. The baby just being here and crawling around is stressing Loki out to the point that he’s over grooming his belly and it’s now bald. He is showing slight aggression towards the baby that is slowly getting worse. I can’t give Loki anymore space away from the baby since we live in an apartment, so unfortunately there isn’t much I can do for him. He definitely needs to go to a home that doesn’t have any young children. We will send a litter box, some of his food, and a bunch of his favorite toys with him.
