Meet Toby He has striking green eyes framed by a stunning black fur coat! Toby is about 3 years old. Toby showed up on a kind woman's porch this winter. It didn't take long for her to realize that he never left her porch and often tried to get inside. Toby had some difficulties adjusting to shelter life and so would need someone to be patient with him. He likes attention and will come to you for pets. He can also be quite “helpful.” Toby wants to be a good boy all the time and to help him with that, his greatest wish is a quiet home without young children where he can be the only pet. Meet Shadow! 2yr. (M) This adorable cat came to us as a scared little boy but he has been working his way out of the shadows and into the light. While he stills likes to hide under and behind things, he’s becoming more and more confident around the other cats at the shelter. He’s even been seen playing ball with his friend Holly, and when no one else is around him, he’ll walk around with a measure of self-assurance. He’s still a bit skittish around people and prefers to come to you rather than have you come to him. He has a cute face that will melt your heart, and a cute personality to go with it. Someone who will be patient with him and let him shine in his own time would be a good match. He would be OK as an only pet or with a friend, again if he is given time to adjust.
