I adopted Dora from a shelter in Pennsylvania in 2020 and she’s been with me ever since. She moved with me to Texas and has been a wonderful companion. Now with two large dogs and a toddler, Dora no longer gets the calm space she deserves. She’s a sweet, loving cat who would thrive in a quieter home where she can be the center of attention. Looking for a good home where Dora will be loved and cared for.

This is is big, orange sweet heart! He is so loving and friendly! Zirkie began showing up at my porch November 2024. He would run away whenever I came out of the house. Assuming he was another feral cat, I set a trap for him, caught him, and took him to the TNR clinic at Austin Humane Society (they tipped his left ear for easy identification). He had no microchip. After a few weeks of living with my other feral cats, I realized he was tame and very used to humans once he figured out they were not going to hurt him. I put up posts in the local community, but no one replied. He is the typical orange, boy cat: sweet, affectionate, easy going. He is the underdog of my feral colony and just tries to stay away from the bully cats. I can pick him up and pet him. Where ever he came from, he got handled a lot. Zirkie is named after my late friend and great Austin musician, Stephen Zirkel, who passed away in August 2024

MaoMao was part of the local feral community. We trapped her under our house when she was pregnant and brought her inside to have her kittens. She turned out to be very friendly, so once her kittens were weaned, we had her spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated in the hopes of finding her a home. She's nervous in new situations and takes time to create a bond, but she's very affectionate once you have that bond. She's the most laid back cat we've ever had as far as handling. She's currently our porch kitty and spends most of her time chillin' on the porch swing; though if we're outside, she follows us around to "help out" with whatever we're doing. MaoMao would be good as an indoor, outdoor, or combo kitty, but plan to keep her inside for at least a couple weeks to create that bond. If considering her for an outdoor kitty, you'll need to be in a rural area as she's used to a lot of space and quiet and wouldn't do well in a neighborhood with lots of people and traffic.

Honey is as sweet as she's named. Never bites or scratches. Extremely polite; never jumps on tables, counters, or keyboards while you're using it. Never begs or paws for food, and won't yell even when you forget to feed her on time. Won't eat anything you don't feed her, won't scratch up furniture. Learns boundaries super quickly and won't enter forbidden spaces, even when the door is ajar. You can trust her to keep the house clean while you're gone (even for long hours) and excitedly greet you at the door when you're back. She has the softest fur ever, so just your luck she loves being petted and brushed. If you're looking for a gentle, well-mannered, silky-soft snuggle-bug, look no further. Her adoption price includes her carrier, toys, litterbox & litter, food, grooming tools, scratching posts, bed, treats, etc. She's the best roommate and anyone would be lucky to have her!
