Meet Astro! Astro was adopted from the local austin animal shelter. He’s four years old a real sweetheart. He loves being where his people are, demanding pets, and snuggling on you for a nap. When he’s not napping, he loves to chase wand toys! I think Astro would really thrive in a home where he’ll get a lot of love. When I adopted him, I was told he was experienced with cats and children. In fact I think he’d love the high energy and playfulness of kids! Astro will fill any home with love.

This is is big, orange sweet heart! He is so loving and friendly! Zirkie began showing up at my porch November 2024. He would run away whenever I came out of the house. Assuming he was another feral cat, I set a trap for him, caught him, and took him to the TNR clinic at Austin Humane Society (they tipped his left ear for easy identification). He had no microchip. After a few weeks of living with my other feral cats, I realized he was tame and very used to humans once he figured out they were not going to hurt him. I put up posts in the local community, but no one replied. He is the typical orange, boy cat: sweet, affectionate, easy going. He is the underdog of my feral colony and just tries to stay away from the bully cats. I can pick him up and pet him. Where ever he came from, he got handled a lot. Zirkie is named after my late friend and great Austin musician, Stephen Zirkel, who passed away in August 2024

George is an 8 years old and have lived with my family for 7 of those years. He was a rescue cat that we adopted. About 2 years ago, he started urinating on the walls and now on objects. His adoption paperwork show that he was neutered, but it does not seem to be. He’s very skiddish and likes to hide most of the time, but does like to sleep on our bed.
