Story
Smokie is a lovely grey girl who came to us as a stray and may have experienced more than we’ll ever know. Because of that, she can be a little cautious at first. She likes to take her time getting to know new people and surroundings. Smokie is an independent lady with clear boundaries. She appreciates a calm environment. For this reason, she would do best in a home without small children, where her space and signals can be most respected. With patience, kindness, and a quiet home, Smokie has so much love to give. As long as you give her the understanding she deserves, She’s the kind of cat who will form a deep, meaningful bond with her person.

Story
Meet Marty! Marty is a gentle soul with a soft gray-and-white coat and the sweetest eyes. He’s shy at first and prefers quiet spaces where he can feel safe. Marty truly blossoms when he has another calm, confident cat to lean on. He’s not a people-focused cat, but with patience and understanding, he will allow gentle interaction and even enjoy quiet companionship. His ideal home is calm, low-stress, and includes a feline friend who can help him feel grounded. If you believe in creating a peaceful space and understand the beauty of a cat-to-cat bond, Marty could be the perfect addition to your home.

Story
Sassy is a beautiful calico cat who is around 1.5-2 years old. This sweet girl hasn’t had the easiest life. Prior to our rescue taking her in, she was with another rescue who adopted out of Petco and Petsmart, where she was sent. Being in a glass box was not for Sassy. Being poked, prodded and stared at every day for hours upon hours turned her from a very loving cat to a very scared and withdrawn one. This is when the rescue decided to surrender her to us where we could safely put her in a foster home. She has been in a foster home for about 3 months and is thriving now. She has come out of her shell and learned she’s safe once again. No more glass boxes for her. The foster says this about her: Friendly Vocal – Loves to talk to you Loves to explore and roam around Loves cat trees Learning to love what toys are again Gets along with other cats, but prefers her own space Would do fine with older children, ideally no young ones for Sassy Dogs would be fine with slow introductions (refer to pictures with dog in the background) Wonderful lap cat Very Entertaining Inside Only Sassy is a calmer cat that loves to lay around and just hang out. Sassy is spayed, FIV/ FLV Tested negative, current on vaccinations, microchipped, will be seen by a vet and given a clean bill of health prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. Story
Azul is a stud muffin of a big boy cat. We don’t know what is bigger – his beautiful blue eyes or his enormous round head. We estimate him to weigh around 15 lbs and believe he is around 5-6 years old. Azul was found roaming a neighborhood along the Texas Mexico border, where a good Samaritan saw him and knew she had to help him. He was super scrawny, covered in fleas, tons of missing hair and scabs all over his body. After about 6 weeks, Azul is fully healed, all of his hair has grown back, and he is ready for his forever home. Despite his age, he is very playful and active. We do not recommend very young children with him as he can play a little bit rough at times. Azul is in a foster home where he is around other cats and dogs. Even though he is big, he gets along wonderfully with other cats! He has met dogs in the current foster home and has no issues with them. He can live happily with other dogs and cats in the home! Azul would love to be a lap cat and be loved on everyday and all day. He does NOT mark. Azul will be neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and given a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption/transport. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. Story
Hi, Lady is a sweet girl. We got her through an estate sale and have had her for about 7 months now. She does not get along with our other pets. She also needs someone who is retired as she bonds with her human and has a hard time being away from them. This results in behavior issues.

Story
Here are two friendly and confident kittens born in our house, who have been handled many times a day since birth. They are completely socialized in our active home and have been carefully exposed to visitors, kids, dogs and other cats. Never timid, they come over to us to get picked up and do not react to loud household noises and commotion. Heath wise, they are just back from their first vet exam where they got their distemper and rabies shots and tested negative for feline leukemia. Both are using their litter box and eat dry food enthusiastically. They have never been outside. They do have their individual personalities – Georgette (on the left in the photo – who we though was was probably George until the vet visit!) is a bit more boisterous, while Louise is definitely a snugger. Since they take such pleasure in playing and sleeping together that we would like them to go to the same home where they can have each other as companions throughout their long lives.
