Story
Ember is a striking 5-month-old black kitten with a personality that sets him apart from the typical rambunctious youngster. This handsome boy has a more stoic, strong-willed nature - he's wise beyond his months and carries himself with a quiet confidence. Don't let his serious demeanor fool you, though. Ember still enjoys playtime and will happily curl up for cuddles when the mood strikes. He just does it all with a bit more composure and independence than your average kitten. He's the type who observes the world thoughtfully before diving in. If you're looking for a kitten companion with depth of character and a calm, steady presence, Ember might be your perfect match. This little old soul is ready to find his forever home.

Story
Guppy is an adorable 6-month-old tuxedo kitten bursting with personality! This playful boy is everything you'd expect from a young male kitten - full of energy, ready for zoomies at a moment's notice, and always up for an adventure. While Guppy has plenty of kitten antics to share, he's also incredibly loving and will literally jump into your arms when it's time for cuddles. He'd thrive best with another kitten companion to match his energy and keep him entertained, though if you have the time to dedicate to interactive play sessions throughout the day, he'll be just as happy as your solo sidekick. If you're looking for a fun-loving kitten who brings both laughter and snuggles to your home, Guppy is ready to leap into your life!

Story
Marty is a gentle soul with a soft gray-and-white coat and the sweetest eyes. He’s shy at first and prefers quiet spaces where he can feel safe. Marty truly blossoms when he has another calm, confident cat to lean on—he is bonded to another cat at the shelter who is available as foster. He’s not a people-focused cat, but with patience and understanding, he will allow gentle interaction and even enjoy quiet companionship. His ideal home is calm, low-stress, and includes a feline friend who can help him feel grounded. If you believe in creating a peaceful space and understand the beauty of a cat-to-cat bond, Marty could be the perfect addition to your home.

Story
***SMUDGE IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN A FOSTER HOME IN SCHENECTADY, NY AND IS AVAILABLE TO MEET WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION*** Meet Smudge! This awesome boy came all the way from Texas! Smudge is a sweet, gentle 5-month-old Turkish Angora with unbelievably soft fur and an even softer personality—it’s truly impossible not to fall in love with him. He’s a devoted cuddle bug who loves being close to his people, making biscuits, and purring contentedly whenever he’s getting attention. Playful, curious, and incredibly gentle, Smudge warms up quickly to new people and doesn’t mind being picked up. He has been successfully introduced to other cats and does well with feline companions. While he is still a bit cautious around dogs, he thrives in calm, loving environments where he can feel safe and adored. Smudge’s ideal home is with true cat people who are excited to give him the love and affection he deserves. In return, he’ll be a constant, affectionate presence—and the kind of cat you wonder how you ever lived without. Smudge will be fixed, current on annual vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and the adoption fee includes the transport costs from Texas to the East Coast.

Story
Sassy is a beautiful calico cat who is around 1.5-2 years old. This sweet girl hasn’t had the easiest life. Prior to our rescue taking her in, she was with another rescue who adopted out of Petco and Petsmart, where she was sent. Being in a glass box was not for Sassy. Being poked, prodded and stared at every day for hours upon hours turned her from a very loving cat to a very scared and withdrawn one. This is when the rescue decided to surrender her to us where we could safely put her in a foster home. She has been in a foster home for about 3 months and is thriving now. She has come out of her shell and learned she’s safe once again. No more glass boxes for her. The foster says this about her: Friendly Vocal – Loves to talk to you Loves to explore and roam around Loves cat trees Learning to love what toys are again Gets along with other cats, but prefers her own space Would do fine with older children, ideally no young ones for Sassy Dogs would be fine with slow introductions (refer to pictures with dog in the background) Wonderful lap cat Very Entertaining Inside Only Sassy is a calmer cat that loves to lay around and just hang out. Sassy is spayed, FIV/ FLV Tested negative, current on vaccinations, microchipped, will be seen by a vet and given a clean bill of health prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. Transport goes to the following locations: Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.
