Story
Meet this sweet 8-month-old girl! She’s a shy little soul who is still learning that the world can be a wonderful place. New people and new experiences can make her a little nervous, so she may need some extra time and patience to come out of her shell. But with a calm environment, gentle encouragement, and someone willing to let her set the pace, she has so much potential to blossom into a confident and loving companion. She may not be the first one to run up and say hello, but sometimes the quiet ones have the sweetest hearts. She’s looking for a patient family who understands that trust takes time—and who will be there to celebrate every little step along the way. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones, this little girl may be waiting to steal your heart! She is currently hanging out at Petco! Swing by and say hi if you’d like to meet this sweet girl and give her a chance to get to know you.

Story
Sapphire is a gentle 1-year-old black and white shorthair lady. She can be a bit shy when first meeting people, but she feels super safe and secure in hidey cubbies, and especially loves cardboard boxes! She's already litter box trained, spayed, and gets along great with other cats, so she'd be a wonderful addition to a multi-cat household or a perfect solo companion. Take a chance on Sapphire, and prepare to build cardboard castles together with your new best friend!

Meet the Ginger Gang! 🧡🐾 Five tiny kittens, five huge personalities, and so much love to give! These sweet babies were born around July 23, 2026, in a home in rural South Texas to an owned mama cat. When their owner contacted us about surrendering them, we learned that they had not been receiving supplemental food and had been relying solely on mom to nurse. As of September 9, these little ones weighed just 1–1.3 pounds. They were incredibly tiny for their age — but thankfully, they are now in loving care and making up for lost time! Since arriving with us, they have absolutely devoured both wet and dry kitten food and are gaining weight quickly. Their progress has been wonderful to watch. 🥰 You may notice that some of their intake photos make them look a little scared. Those pictures were taken when they first arrived, and they were understandably overwhelmed by all the changes. But just 24 hours later, they had already relaxed, come out of their shells, and started showing us who they really are. And who they really are? Absolute sweethearts. They are: 🐾 Loving and gentle 🐾 Major cuddle bugs 🐾 Purring machines 🐾 Big fans of kitty toys 🐾 Quick to warm up with a little patience and affection We have 5 kittens total — 3 females and 2 males: 🩷 Peanut — female 🩷 Butter — female 🩷 Sunshine — female 💙 Tostito — male 💙 Frito — male All five are medium- to long-haired, and we expect them to stay beautifully fluffy as they grow. Their mama is also very long-haired, so these babies are likely destined to be some seriously gorgeous floofballs! And did we mention the GINGERS FOR DAYS?! 🧡🧡🧡 These kittens would likely do wonderfully in many different types of homes. They are already proving that they can overcome a scary start and blossom quickly when given safety, good food, kindness, and love. They are litter box trained. Kids in the home need to understand these babies are TINY and need to be handled carefully and with supervision until they are older. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate kitten who will happily curl up with you and purr your ears off, one of these little ginger babies may be exactly who you've been waiting for. ❤️ They may have started life tiny, but they are growing stronger every day — and their hearts are already HUGE. These kittens will be tested negative for FIV/FLV, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, and current on de-wormer. PLEASE READ BELOW: To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed ($595) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the Northeast. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks: Albany, NY Port Chester, NY area Amenia, NY area Wells, VT and Brattleboro, VT Nashua, NH Willington, CT - Stamford, CT - Dayville, CT Steubenville, OH – Cincinnati, OH – Grove City, OH Grove City, PA and Washington, PA Ridgefield, NJ and Mt Laurel, NJ Emmitsburg, MD and Elkton, MD Falls Church, VA and Glenn Allen, VA We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home. With an approved application, we do put you in touch with the Texas foster who has the kitty for you to make sure the kitty is the perfect fit.
