Story
star patch of white, golden eyes"We're so excited you're interested in adopting a new furry friend! To help us find the perfect match for you and our animals, we're pre-approving applicants. Here's how it works:Please start by filling out our adoption application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=rz1556&method=online_form_html&formid=6This helps us learn more about you, including which animal you're interested in, your family, any other pets you have, your living situation (owning or renting), and your veterinarian. We understand that if you don't currently have pets, you won't have a vet reference. In that case, we kindly ask for a personal reference instead. Why we ask these questions:We want to make sure we find the best possible fit for both you and the animal. For renters, we need to confirm with your landlord that pets are allowed, as unfortunately, many landlords in Franklin County have restrictions.Checking with your veterinarian helps us ensure that our animals receive the ongoing medical care they deserve. What happens next:Once we receive positive references from your landlord (if applicable) and veterinarian (or personal reference), we'll contact you to schedule an appointment if you're interested in adopting a dog.If you're looking for a feline friend, you're welcome to come in anytime during our open hours!Important information:Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the date your application is approved. We're truly grateful for the overwhelming interest in our animals! Our staff is working diligently to approve applications as quickly as possible. While it may take a few days, most applications are approved sooner.Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to find loving homes for our wonderful animals!"

Story
Kimmie is a beautiful orange girl with the sweetest, most delicate little heart. She may not rush up to greet you right away, but that’s only because she’s still learning that the world can be kind. Once she feels safe, you’ll see just how special she truly is. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/bWf6FFlBgUY?si=pEJth2HrU5P6AQ_Z Kimmie absolutely adores treats (they are the key to her heart ) and she quietly melts for gentle pets. When she realizes she’s safe, she leans into affection in the softest, most touching way. There is something incredibly rewarding about earning her trust — it feels like being chosen by royalty. She’s not dramatic or demanding. She’s gentle, observant, and thoughtful. The kind of cat who will bond deeply with her person and love them with her whole heart. Kimmie just needs a calm, patient home where she can blossom at her own pace. And when she does? She will be the most loyal, loving little companion you could ever ask for. Her past doesn’t define her — it just makes her resilience even more beautiful. She’s discovering that cozy beds, full bowls, and kind hands are pretty wonderful things. Now she just needs a forever family to show her that love is here to stay. If you’ve ever wanted to be someone’s safe place… Kimmie is waiting for you. Adopt her now! Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6985322586d34c2bc1000254 Questions? Our cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful private bus, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you! The adoption fee is $600 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.  We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below!  https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/  https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/  https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $86 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results were provided at intake.*

Story
Fae is a 4-month-old medium-haired black beauty with the softest fur and the watchful eyes of a tiny forest sprite. She may start off as a quiet little shadow, carefully observing new people from a safe distance, but don’t let that fool you. This girl has a brave and curious heart just waiting to shine. Fae has grown up alongside her sister, Ms. Mittens. She takes comfort in having a playful feline friend nearby. She does wonderfully with other cats and would love a home where she can have a kitty companion to help her feel confident and secure. Once Fae decides you’re part of her inner circle, she transforms into a loving, affectionate companion. She enjoys pets very much and will happily come sit near you to soak up attention. She’s easy to handle and gentle, but she prefers not to be held for long. She’s more of a “sit beside you like a tiny queen” kind of girl rather than a “carry me everywhere” type. Fae is still learning about the world, so dogs and children are currently a mystery to her. With slow introductions and patience, she may adapt beautifully. Fae’s specialties include:• Silent room supervision• Elegant lounging poses• Accepting pets with quiet approval• Being adorable without even trying• Slowly becoming your tiny best friend Fae would thrive in a patient home where she can blossom at her own pace. If you’re looking for a gentle, beautiful companion who will reward your kindness with trust, affection, and soft little moments, Fae is ready to weave her magic into your life.   PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states.  Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Story
Bob is a 1-year-old American Bobtail with the cutest little stubby tail and a personality that’s equal parts shy sweetheart and play machine. He may take a moment to size you up when you first meet, but once he realizes you’re friend material, he melts into a loving, affectionate companion. Bob absolutely loves being pet. Ear scratches? Yes please. Back rubs? Don’t stop. He tolerates being held, but he really prefers expressing his affection through play, pets, and hanging out beside you like your loyal little sidekick. And speaking of play… Bob is a toy enthusiast of the highest order. His absolute favorite is a worm toy with a bell at the end. The moment he hears that tiny jingle, it’s game on. He’ll leap, chase, pounce, and proudly show off his impressive hunting skills. He gets so excited during playtime, he can sometimes forget his manners and play a bit rough. For that reason, he would do best in a home without small children but he’ll thrive with adults or older kids who understand playful cats. Bob does okay with other cats and may enjoy a feline friend who can match his playful spirit. He hasn’t met dogs yet.   Bob would love a home where he can burn off his playful energy, receive lots of affection, and continue growing into the confident, happy boy he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion with endless personality and the cutest little tail around, Bob is ready to bounce into your life. Story
At just 4 months old, Ms. Mittens is already a world-class athlete, professional entertainer, and part-time cuddle enthusiast. This adorable black-and-white spotted kitten has a personality as delightful as her fancy little outfit suggests. Ms. Mittens is the brave and outgoing sister of Fae, often leading the charge into new adventures. Her greatest passions in life include chasing feather toys with Olympic-level precision, hunting laser pointers like they personally offended her, and zooming around the room with joyful kitten energy. Unlike some kittens who prefer to keep all four paws on the ground, Ms. Mittens is perfectly okay with being held and enjoys affection. She’s friendly, confident, and loves being part of the action. Whether she’s playing, exploring, or settling down after a long day of important kitten business, she’s happiest being near her people. She does wonderfully with other playful cats and would especially love a home with her sister Fae or another feline friend to share her adventures. Ms. Mittens’ special talents include:• Elite feather toy hunting• Laser pointer interception• Winning hearts in under 30 seconds• Being ridiculously cute at all times• Providing endless entertainment and love Ms. Mittens would thrive in a home ready for fun, laughter, and lots of kitten antics. If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate little companion who will fill your days with joy   PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states.  Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application.
