Adorable Wednesday arrived as a stray, she was hanging around a home and they were looking out for her, but as the weather got colder they wanted to give her a better chance at life. She has been easygoing since arriving, seeking attention and making mini biscuits. We are still learning about her, but what she has shown us so far is pretty fantastic. We're not sure of her history with other cats or dogs, so a slow and structured introduction would be recommended. Wednesday is not spayed yet, her surgery is scheduled for 10/29 and will be covered by her adoption fee.

Working Cat Prospect: Tonka is a skittish 1 year old orange and white kitty. He was caught in a trap as a stray so we have no history on him. He is fine with other cats and is trusting of us to handle him but will need a home that has the patience to keep giving him love and kindness to come around. OR he would be super as a working cat where people would feed him but he could be in a barn or big building situation to control rodents. He is very motivated by wet food. Tara is a beautiful senior gal who is looking for a calm and loving home. She arrived to us after her owner lost her housing, she was initially placed in a foster home where it seems like the presence of other cats and dogs in the home made her quite fearful. Here in the shelter she is calm and comfortable, but you can tell she is still cautious. We think she would most appreciate a low energy home where she can love and be loved and return to the house cat life she is so used to.
