Story
Hello there, I'm Mikko! I'm an adult dog who loves to explore and play. I'm smart and independent, I've even mastered the no-pull harness. It's great for long walks and adventures! I have lots of energy. I'm also a big fan of treats, they're my favorite reward for learning new tricks. I get along well with older children, they match my energy level perfectly. I'm looking for a forever home with a family who appreciates my intelligence and independence. I promise to bring joy, fun, and unconditional love to your life. Will you be my forever family?March 27, 2024, 11:35 am

This is Vic! Vic is incredibly sweet and a happy boy! Watch his ears as he listens to you - they are too cute! He's a friendly pup who will sit nicely for treats - yes, he loves his treats! According to his former owner, he is crate-trained and has no problems hanging out in it! Vic likes everyone human but doesn't care for cats. It's best you don't have any in your home! Vic has arthritis and may need supplements and/or medication in the future; you'll want to consult with your vet on how to manage it. This precious dog is a love - you need to meet him! Please bring your dog, if you have one.March 27, 2024, 11:35 am

Story
Finn is one smart pup! He knows several commands: 'sit', 'stay', 'shake' ('paw'), 'lay' and 'spin'! He's crate trained and has no issues with staying in it. He walks well - occasional puller but calms down quickly! He loves his treats and he loves butt scratches! He also loves to snuggle! No, he isn't a lap dog ;) But a lover, no less. He's got a waggy tail; he's a happy boy! It's recommended that you bring your dog for a long visit - Finn is known to do better with female dogs. Because of his size, we recommend older children, if you have them. Finn can't wait to meet you!March 28, 2024, 12:05 pm

Shelter Visiting Hours are 12 pm to 4 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1981969##

Almost 4. Very silly. He was left with me and has been through a lot of being passed around, his whole doggy life. He needs a stable home and lots of love. I have been this dogs safe place on an off since he was born, and I unfortunately do not have the time or the means to provide him his best life. He has very poor leash skills and leash reactivity. he needs a consistent training on leash or a big yard to run. He would make an IDEAL ranch hand and is very smart. He is a great pack dog but deserves to be someones one and only doggy. He does not do well with agreesive type training and already knows many many tricks. Very treat driven...I will foster him untill the perfect human is found for him. Adoption fee negotiable.

Hero is a great protection dog, he needs someone who is strong and he can rough house with. He love sticks and running around outside. He free feeds, he is not picky about food. There are some veggies he’s loves like green beans, others not to much but he will try anything. He is definitely food motivated and probably a little over weight. Apartment living isn’t for him, he isn’t a fan of children and definitely doesn’t like being climbed on and constantly aggravated. He knows some tricks, the normal ones: sit, paw, other paw, down, speak. I think he’s very intelligent, just needs someone who knows how to train and has the patience. He also is a bed sleeper, he loves it. His previous owner was homeless a lot so a bed for him to sleep in is a dream come true. He loves toys, especially stuffed animals, he WILL tear it up but he does it slowly as time goes on until it’s no more.
