Story
AN ACTIVE & FUN PUP:  Approx. 6-7 months old / Approx. 24 lbs. & growing Hello – I’m Casanova!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am so happy to be on the journey to my new home with their help.  I recently spent time in a great temporary foster home, where I got a glimpse of the great life that awaits me in a home of my very own.  Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!   I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off-site and learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, however, I am a serious food guarder and should always be fed separately and receive treats away from other dogs. If you have a friendly dog who would enjoy a puppy companion and are comfortable keeping all food and treats separate, let’s meet! / Cats unknown, but remember we must eat and snack separately. / I haven’t met kids yet, so if you have kids that are old enough to understand my food guarding, let’s meet.  I am thinking teens and up would be best.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a very active and friendly guy who wiggled and wagged my whole body when I saw my foster – adorable!  I’m not shy about registering my opinion about things that bother me and I did find my voice in my temp. foster home, so best no apartment/condo type home.  I’m all puppy, I am still exploring the world and use my mouth to discover.  The bath sprayer was new to me, and I tried to battle the water by ‘biting’ at it, but not at my bather – just that weird water.  I think I’ll get used to it given a few more baths though.  Fun and playful, I will bring lots of love and adventure to my new home. / My energy level is 7-9, possibly lower once I settle in, though I’m not sure as I am an active breed dog. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  I showed my temp. foster that I am familiar with some commands, so perhaps I will be a quick study.  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend.  Still very much a puppy, I do love to nibble on pants, ankles and shoes. / My crate manners were good in my foster home. / My potty habits are a work in progress, but I am getting the hang of it.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love large rope toys. They are great for tug-o-war and for burning up energy.  Once I am all tuckered out, I love a comfy dog bed for recharging my batteries.  I’m sure we’ll discover lots of other things we will enjoy doing together. / Loud voices startle me and make me want to hide and in my temp. foster home, I was afraid of my reflection in the mirror or in windows, but my foster showed me it was all good.  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on my immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered.   If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    February 7, 2026, 8:03 am

Story
Bleu is a 7-month-old Catahoula mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. He gets along with everyone—children, adults, and other dogs—and is especially gentle with small kids. He’s the kind of pup who fits right into a family like he’s always belonged there.   Bleu is potty trained, crate trained, and very polite. He comes when called, listens well, and thrives on praise—especially during nail trims! He loves cuddling up beside his person and even sleeps out of the crate at night, happily curled up close.   Like any puppy, Bleu is still learning and will need to be crated when unattended for a little while longer—he’s in that curious chewing phase. But with toys, ice cubes to crunch, and plenty of love, he’s one happy boy. He enjoys playing outside and having doggy friends, though people are definitely his favorite.   Bleu wiggles his whole body when he’s excited to see you and has so much love to give. He truly deserves nothing less than the very best family to call his own. A fenced in yard and another active dog in the home is required.  Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care. Rabies vaccines are given if the dog is 16 weeks of age or older.  February 10, 2026, 1:26 pm
