Story
Willow is such a fun, loving & intelligent girl. My family & I adore her but due to my serious health issues, we feel she would thrive with a different family. We can’t give her the time & energy she deserves. She loves everyone & has never shown aggression. She was born deaf but it’s never been an issue. We trained her with hand signals & she does amazing. Her sky blue eyes will hypnotize you! She will play ball with you for hours. We literally have to hide the ball to make her stop. lol. She lives with other dogs and I’m sure she’d be fine with a multi dog house. She has never been around cats so I don’t know how she would react. If you’re interested, reach out & you can meet Willow. She is spayed, microchipped & up to date on all shots. Most importantly, she is the best cuddler!!

Story
Hello World. My name is Rolo and I am very exotic looking. When the sunlight shines on me you can see spots of milk chocolate floating in a sea of creamy caramel. Only difference is I am not wrapped in foil candy paper like a roll of Rolos. My world was not always like a candy bar, sweet. At some point in my life I had a family who loved me. My foster mom talks about how good I am with kids. I like female dogs when they are Introduced to me slowly. I love them. I love puppies. I love to play. I am nervous when I meet someone. But that changes quickly and I become the life of the party. Rolo would do best with children over 8- 10 years old and older. Dogs if they are Introduced slowly. Cats are unknown. He loves older children and being loved on. Rolo would be great on hikes, long power walks, and camping. Next step is to request an application for adopting me. Please send your request for an application to alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. Your reference cannot be related to you. Rolo Male Neutered Breed Catahoula/ Staffordshire Terrier mix Age 1 1/2 yrs old Weight 40lbs Color brown and Carmel Great with people, older children, dogs/ puppies (if introduced slowly, cats/ kittens unknown Adoption donation $450 Carlton Rescue- Operation Puppy Love 501c3 (Follow us on Facebook) https://treatva.onelink.me/rVix/RI150 (sign up today and help earn food and treats for our rescue)

Story
Ready to meet your new best friend? We're talking your shadow, your ride-or-die, your wing woman. If so, meet Kady, a soft-hearted girl who carries herself with a quiet grace and a deep love for the people she trusts. She is a thoughtful girl who blossoms with gentle guidance and clear expectations. But most importantly, she's down to be your bestie, whether that means going for a walk, playing fetch in the yard, or snuggling on the couch. She's here for all of it. Kady’s journey hasn’t been easy—she was found abandoned and tied to a fence at Memphis Animal Services. Thankfully, her story took a hopeful turn when one of our dedicated southern rescuers stepped forward to welcome her into a loving foster home. She has been found to be the kind of dog who stays close, watching, listening, and choosing connection with her people.Kady moved to New England foster home in March and from what we have seen, she has excellent house manners, including house and crate training. This girl also walks so politely on a leash. She takes food and treats gently, and does a funny tippy-tap march with her paws when she's excited. She loves Nyla bones and wants to show her bone to you, taking it in her mouth and proudly parading through the house with it.Kady absolutely adores people and we feel that she will do best with adults and older children. She forms strong bonds with her humans and takes great comfort in being part of the family’s daily life. A home where there is someone home to hang out with her more often than not would be ideal, and she'd much rather be with you than be alone. She can have a bit of initial anxiety when entering the car, but then chills and lays down. She is just an all-around great dog and would make a wonderful addition to a family. When it comes to other dogs, Kady prefers all the attention, she is perfectly happy as the only dog, soaking up all the love and attention for herself. She needs a home that will respect her needs and not bring other dogs or cats into her space or her into their space. She is fine to pass other dogs on walks and has no issues with them. She just does not want them in her space and thinks there is nothing wrong with being the "only" child. She is an active lady that enjoys walks and hikes and would benefit from regular outings to keep her body and mind engaged. She also has a great time playing with water from a hose as you can see here:https://youtube.com/shorts/ROQk9xPMs6Y?feature=shareA fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus for outdoor playtime, especially for adopters who may not do long daily walks.Kady is ready for adoption and hoping for a home where she can feel safe, understood, and truly cherished. In the right environment, she’ll reward her family with loyalty, affection, and the quiet joy of a dog who knows she’s finally home.Name: Kady LOCALBreed: Catahoula/Pittie mixSex: FemaleAge: 2 year  3 months (as of 5/10/26)Weight: 45.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 12, she is too shy for young toddlers or babies.Good with Dogs: No (is fine on walks but wants to live alone)Good with Cats: noAdoption Fee: $550.00 Location of dog currently:    New England IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Ike is the very outgoing. He LOVES zoomies and stomping his feet to get you to play.More about Ike and his litter:Mama Olivia — a gorgeous dappled girl who looks to be some kind of hound/doxie mix — was dumped pregnant in rural Mississippi. Thankfully, a rescuer was able to trap her safely and get her to one of our foster homes, where she gave birth to ELEVEN puppies on February 15th. Yes… eleven. These babies are now 14 weeks old, and, honestly, one is cuter than the other. Some look just like mama, while several are stunning, solid black pups. We have absolutely no idea who daddy was, but he clearly contributed to a pretty adorable litter. The puppies are exactly what puppies should be:• Fun• Curious• Into absolutely everything• Currently learning crate training• Definitely still working on the whole “housebroken” thing Please, please consider the work that comes with a puppy before applying:• Middle-of-the-night potty trips• Crate training• Socialization• Chewing stages• Puppy classes/basic training (required)• Patience and consistency for the next year+Puppies are not born knowing how to be good dogs — that part is up to us humans. We really don’t want someone calling in a year saying their dog is behaving badly and needs to come back because training and structure never happened. That said? If you’re ready for the commitment, one of these babies may be your new best friend for the next 12-15 years.Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog/Crossbreed   (Breed Mix is not guaranteed - no DNA testing has been done)Age: 14 weeks on 5/26Weight: 9-11 lb range on 5/6Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinics when requested. ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for your benefit and your puppy's, so if you experience behavioral issues, you have a point of contact.  IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Story
Meet Star! Star is a 4-year-old Catahoula/Hound mix with a heart every bit as big as her personality. This girl has been through more than most dogs ever should - she was shot, and the bullet went through her jaw and ear. She underwent jaw surgery, and as a result, her tongue now hangs out permanently. But Star doesn’t let her past define her. She is pure resilience wrapped in sweetness. Star is incredibly affectionate and so happy-natured. She loves to run, explore, and play, but she also knows how to wind down and melt into you for snuggles - the perfect balance of fun and companionship. She enjoys car rides and would make a wonderful adventure buddy for someone who wants a loyal co-pilot by their side. She’s very smart, already knows “sit,” and uses the doggie door like a total pro. Star is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find the family who will love her for the amazing, one-of-a-kind girl she is. If you’re looking for a dog with a beautiful soul and an even more beautiful spirit, Star is your girl.
