Story
Meet Iris Lou A stunning Catahoula Leopard Dog with a heart as beautiful as her spots Iris Lou is the kind of dog who gently tiptoes into your life… and then curls right up into your heart. This sweet girl is affectionate, gentle, and an absolute cuddle-bug once she feels safe. She can be a little shy at first, but give her a moment and she’ll show you her loyal, loving soul. Iris is dog-friendly and truly prefers having canine companions around. She feels most confident when she has dog friends nearby and thrives in a home where she isn’t the only four-legged heartbeat. She’s also a bit protective of her people, the good kind that watches over you with quiet devotion. One of her most endearing quirks? Her goofy, crooked smile. Iris curls one side of her lip up and shows her teeth, which might look intimidating at first glance, but it’s actually her way of saying “I trust you.” It’s a submissive, affectionate gesture and one of the many things that makes her uniquely Iris. She’s fully committed to outdoor pottying and will not use potty pads. Outside is the only acceptable bathroom in her world. She also loves carrying her stuffies outdoors… though fair warning, they rarely survive the adventure. &#239&#184&#143 Iris Lou’s story is one of quiet resilience. She was dumped on the same county road where another rescue dog, Lily, was found. For weeks, Iris hid in the brush, surviving with the help of kind people who left her food and water. Slowly, patiently, Corey earned her trust, and once she decided she was safe, she never looked back. She walked into her foster home and made herself part of the family almost instantly. Unlike many dogs with her past, Iris has no desire to wander off. When she chooses you, she chooses you. Iris Lou is looking for a loving home where she can feel secure, have doggy friends, enjoy cuddles, and flash that sweet, silly smile every day. If you’re ready for a loyal companion with a gentle heart and a survivor’s spirit, Iris Lou may be your girl. Adopt Iris Lou and give this beautiful soul the forever she’s been waiting for.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 14, 2026, 2:11 pm

Story
COURTESY POST - We are looking for rehome or placement support for our 1.5yo dog, Bernie (Catahoula Leopard Dog-mix). He's 60lbs, healthy, neutered & fully vaccinated, crate/potty trained and professionally trained with a strong obedience foundation. Bernie is a great companion with a great balance of energy and ability to settle - he is exceptionally loving and loyal, but unfortunately struggles with high over-arousal when guests enter the home (jumping, vocalization, mouthiness). He has never bitten or injured anyone, but needs structured introductions and an experienced home that can manage his stress in these situations. With a newborn arriving in July, we can no longer safely manage his needs long-term. Our trainer believes he would thrive in the right environment with experienced owners, and we are trying to avoid a shelter setting due to stress risk.  He loves playing tug, napping in the sun, and going for car rides. He is off-leash trained, has great recall, and is social and friendly outside of the home.  We can provide full training history, financial support for initial expenses, and transport. We are open to foster, rescue intake, or assisted rehoming. For more info, see his rehome profile here: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/47863549-yardley-pennsylvania-catahoula-leopard-dog-mix  Please text Katie, 203-414-8952 if interested in learning more. ##2735762##

Story
Meet Molly: Molly is about a 12 weeks (as of May 14, 2026) Catahoula/Lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 20 pounds. This litter of cuties (Gracey, Sadie, Brandi, Molly, Goldie, Snoopy, Dottie and Daisy) was found as strays with their mom in a rural area in Mississippi. Luckily the person who spotted them took them and dropped them at a local animal shelter. We heard about the need to get them into a rescue and were able to step up. Molly is being fostered in the Lititz, PA area and would love to meet her forever family! Molly, and this full litter, is a group of very active, sweet, friendly and loving pups. Molly is a confident girl that loves to play. She is great with other dogs and loves zooming around the yard, playing with toys, and cuddling on your lap. Molly has been around cats and is interested in them. She will run and bark at them and then lick her new little friends. Molly is a house training super star: she hasn't had any accidents in her foster home! She is crate trained. She would love another dog in her forever home to play with! Molly is very smart- she is learning commands and not to jump up on people.  We would love for Molly to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Molly is up to date on her puppy shots and will need to be spayed when age appropriate. If you are interested in giving this little cutie a great life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
Meet Goldie: Goldie is about a 14 week old (as of May 28, 2026) Catahoula/Lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 18 pounds. She is a very sweet and loving puppy.  Goldie was part of a litter that was surrendered to an animal shelter in MS, along with their mother. She and all of her litter mates (Gracey, Sadie, Brandi, Molly, Snoopy, Dottie, and Daisy) are active, sweet, friendly and loving pups. Goldie is being fostered in the Lititz, PA area and would love to meet her forever family! Her fosters can only say good things about this beautiful girl. She is great with kids and loves to meet other dogs. If she had her way, she would meet every dog she passes. Goldie is smart, too! She has only been with her fosters since mid-May 2026 and she has already learned the "sit" and "leave it" commands. We think she has the potential to learn much more.  Goldie was around cats when she lived in the south. She was interested in them. She would run and bark at them and then lick her new little friends. Goldie is doing well with her potty-training and is almost completely potty-trained! She has not had any accidents since the beginning of June. Goldie is crate-trained. She didn't like the crate at first, but has learned that it's not so bad being crated. She will "complain" for a few minutes, but then settles down and goes to sleep. We would love for Goldie to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Goldie is up to date on her puppy shots and will need to be spayed when age appropriate. If you are interested in giving this little cutie a great life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.
