Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Hi, I am Paris,Yes, like the city. I don’t speak French, but I do understand Spanish!I am generally a calm dog who likes to play with other dogs when we are introduced. I am still a young do and if you know Labs you know we stay puppy-like for a few years. I love to play with toys and my favorite is balls. If you would throw the ball for me I would love it. I like to play with children too, but I haven’t been around cats before so I am not sure how we would get along. I am good with car rides especially if they end up at the beach. I am not much for swimming, but I love to run in the water and splash everyone!I know that I need to go outside to do my business and I have some basic commands down, but I will still need work with walking on a leash.
