Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. Chance’s name says it all. This sweet boy was found alone at a park on a cold night with nothing but a blanket, yet despite his rough start, his heart is full of love and trust. Chance is incredibly gentle, easygoing, and crazy smart. He adores people of all ages and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes. He’s already house and kennel trained, making him an easy addition to any home. Playtime is one of Chance’s favorite things. He loves playing fetch and happily entertains himself with toys. When he’s not playing, he’s soaking up affection and enjoying being part of a family. Chance is the kind of pup who reminds you how resilient and loving dogs can be. Roxy is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. -Roxy is a female, possibly a Lab/Terrier mix, and is around 8 months old (October 17). -She weighs around 25-30 lbs (October 17) -Very social, loves everyone and other dogs as you can see in her video below. -Very sweet natured -Since she's young, we don't think he would have a problem with kids -Needs work on walking on a leash -Doesn't go to the bathroom in her crate at night -Is not housebroken -Video of Roxy: https://youtube.com/shorts/nZ8s4Q-kAtE?feature=share Roxy is spayed vaccinated (DHLPPx3, Bordetella and Rabies), has been dewormed and is on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention.
